Hi ladies, I am still a little new to the forum, but have learned so much so fast about Dreams Tulum! My fiance and I are hoping to get married there in May 2009--I just contacted Sandra, so hopefully I will hear from her soon! Anyway, I was going to see what rooms most of your guests have (or had) booked--the deluxe room, junior suites, etc. I want to get a feel for what most of our guests will be paying and give them all a little heads up. Also, any advice past & future brides have on Dreams Tulum, send it all my way!!!

Thanks

Hi! Congrats and Welcome! My husband Jason (lambert13) and I got married at Dreams Tulum and had a wonderful experiance. We had a private wedding just the two of us and stayed in an ocean view jr. suite which was beautiful. This was a complimentary upgrade from a standard room. The service is wonderful. Our room was beautiful and luxurious. Reallly beyond my expectations for the money we spent. I feel that Dreams really does give you a lot of value for your money. Be prepared for slow communication from Sandra and Landy, her asst. via e-mail. But be assured that Sandra was so accomodating and bent over backwards for us. Feel free to PM Jason or me for more info. There are a lot of Dreams brides on here who had full on wedding parties so you have many resources available. Be sure to check out the reviews! Happy planning!

we all booked deluxe garden view (i.e. hacienda rooms) because it was 400$ per person for a dreams suite. I'm told we can upgrade for 40$ per night per room to a dreams garden view or 60$ per night per room to a dreams ocean view when we get there, so that is way cheaper (280$ per room per week rather than 400$ per person per week * 2 people!). Fingers crossed that there will be space which I think there will be. Also, there is a chance we'll get upgraded for free when we get there (i.e. if all the hacienda rooms are taken up).

if your group is all very high class it would be better to book dreams suites to avoid disappointment
