I found this poem on another wedidng site and wanted to share with you guys. It especially works when you give your BM a bag full of goodies as there gift.

Canvas Bag of Necessities

This Bridesmaid gift was made just for you,

So you can be cared for all the day through.

A canvas tote to hold all these things from my heart

For all your support that you showed me from the start.

A robe to wear while your hair is getting set.

So you won't get your lovely dress wet.

Hair spray to keep your hair in place,

A mirror to check out our beautiful face.

Lotion to keep your fingers dry,

A packet of tissues incase you should cry.

Lip gloss in case your lips should chap,

You know this bride is watching your back.

Gum to keep your breath feeling fresh so you can have fun,

Clear nail polish in case you should have a run.

A nail file to prevent those runs I mentioned before,

I want to prepare you for what may be instore.

Band-Aids in case your shoes are not feeling OK,

A pair of flip flops to dance the night away.

Last and not least, a bottle of bubbly to take of the edge

A straw is included to so your lipstick won't smudge

Thank you so much for all you have done,

Your support, your love, and all of the fun.

There are no words to express how lucky I feel,

To have friends like you, friendship so real.

I hope this little gift helps you and brings you some glee,

It's just a little thanks from your bride-to-be.

I was just at the store today trying to figure out what to do for them. I am having a dress trying on party around Christmas when we'll all be at home and I wanted to give them a little poem to ask them formally to be in my wedding. Thanks Jenetta!!!

I created these the other night. One side is a poem for each of them (I just searched the internet for Bridesmaids poems) and the other side I am telling them to save for a picture from the wedding. This was a really inexpensive thing, I already had a ton of scrapbook stuff and then bought frames at Target for $10. I am a photo junkie, something left over from my sorority days. Christine those are awesome. Your girls will feel really special, I'm sure.

I didn't do anything fun like that, but I did get my girls some nice Thank You gifts at the wedding. I had to stay within budget, but I got them:

1. earrings to wear at the wedding (each a little different)

2. ivory pashmina (my friend brought them back from India herself!)

3. Sephora gift card

4. cute keychain from Three Chickadees (in the wedding colors, of course)

5. JCrew flip flops, also in wedding colors
