Invite - RSVP question

Hi, Girls!

 

I am placing the order for my invites and was wondering ... should I have an RSVP postcard or one with a separate envelope. I will save about $40 if I get the postcard - but didn't know if the separate envelope would look better.

 

All the invite stuff is new to me. And ... do your guests really notice/care if it is a postcard v. separate envelope?

 

See ... these are the kinds of details that I become obsessed with and it drives me nuts! :-)

We decided to do a postcard kind, saves money on envelopes, but also on weight, when you mail them it will weigh less!

Ahh yes the details, they will kill you every time. I dont think anyone would care or notice. They will probably think the postcard is fun and creative! My vote is the postcard, always save a little money when you can!

I vote for a postcard, too. For one thing, its less hassle for your guests - don't have to put it in an envelope, get a papercut on their tongue licking it, etc.

 

And its easier for you - you don't have to open envelopes, you just flip it over.

 

And besides, its a DW - how perfect is the postcard-style RSVP?

I personally like the postcards too. Goes with the whole theme of a destination/vacation wedding. Plus it's different. I think your guests will get a kick out of them.

I did postcards and the only issues I may be having is that we might have lost one. They are so small that I am afraid they are getting in with the junk mail. Just check carefully or put something bright on them so they stick out.
