REBECCA
Hi Girls, I took your advice and had my raw footage edited. WOW? This guy did an amazing job! What a difference there is between raw footage and editing. There was 90 minutes of footage and he edited down to 22 minutes. It is perfect and not too long. Just long enough to keep your attention. The editor faded scenes together, enhanced the sounds of the ocean waves, our voices, took dark shadows away from peoples faces, etc. Right after the ceremony, when I was hugging everyone and laughing, he changed it to slow motion and played the song I chose (Crazy Love by Van Morrison). I looked so happy. I didn't cry at my ceremony, but I cried watching my video! After seeing the raw footage, and then that, I was so happy that I spent the money to have it edited. My friend made a surprise power point that they showed at the reception. Well, we added that as a menu option and also added Juan's slideshow. The resolution is really bad for Juan's slideshow though. It was designed for a computer, not video, so the clairty is not as good as it looks on the computer. The video editor worked on it all day and made it okay. We are going to leave it in anyway. Had I wanted to spend the money, the editor would have made his own montage with Juan's photos that was built for video. I also gave him some of Juan's wedding pictures on a CD and he incorporated them into the cover. Anyway, the editor said the quality of the video and some of the footage was pretty good. Sam Perches was the videographer. If you decide to go with him, make sure there are two camera men and have the groom clip a microphone on his jacket (we had one camera man (Sam)and no mic on my husband). As Sam moved around, our voices would come in an out because we were out of range, or I would be talking toward the ocean instead of facing the camera. Here is the info for the editor I used. I paid $140 for the whole thing and $10 extra per copy. JPMO
Thanks for mentioning Rebecca. I am such a fan of videography and has to really convince my FI that we needed one. While we've booked our vidoegrapher I know he's truly not convinced. You miss so much on that day and pictures alone can't capture everything. I am glad you decided to do video! amyh
I think its always great to have a video. I have a friend who was married almost two years ago and still watches her video once a week! She says she has a blast watching it over and over again!

REBECCA
Your girls know how computer illiterate I am! I will ask the editor if he has any suggestions (for Dummies like me ) Seroiusly, I will see if I can load it onto some sort of program?? Suggestions are welcome if you girls know of any websites that do this sort of thing??
BVP
There is a way to do this - However the video has to be compressed for web delivery.... The files are just too big if they are not compressed... Maybe your video guy has the compression software for this - I have it to use for compression of my demos on the web... I wanna see it too! m
