Will you wear flip-flops, bare feet, or traditional shoes

I had originally wanted a "beach dress" too, but when I went dress shopping I fell in love with a more traditional "poofy" dress. With that being said...in my long dress it's really hard to actually see my shoes anyway. So I would go for comfort. Plus, there is something extra cool about being in a traditional dress and wearing sandals on the beach! Just for an example here is a picture of what I am leaning towards.

I would think BM's would be happy to go barefoot. One less expense. Especially if its a beach wedding. But sure, it's certainly a good idea to get their input.

Both my ceremony and reception are on the beach. I'm going to wear barefoot sandals. I love them, perfect for a beach wedding! They won't kick up the sand.

i'm wearing traditional shoes. my wedding planner says it will be fine, b/c she's laying down woven mats on the sand so it will be easier to walk down the isle.

I'm all about the heels, but I won't be in the sand for my ceremony or reception. I'm hoping to have photos in the sand bc my FMIL gave us the just married flip-flops for Christmas.
