Christine & Will's Story

Will and I went to high school together and had Spanish class together-where he apparently began to have a crush (from afar-he never told me) until we ran into each other after graduating from college. We began talking and soon discovered we were perfect for each other. Of course he was a typical guy putting off the marriage talk as long as possible. I however was getting impatient. Last Christmas, he told me he was finally ready to begin looking around and saving up for a ring. So around my birthday in February we went "looking" and found the only ring that would be perfect was one we created together. I knew he had picked up the ring but I had no idea how or when he would actually do the deed.

One Saturday in late March he asked me if I wanted to go for a hike (which was weird and should have tipped me off, since we've never gone hiking before) in the Valley of Fire (we were living in Las Vegas, NV at the time).

Towards the end of a trail he asked a woman to take a picture of us, and then when he walked back towards me he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!!! We already knew we were planning a destination wedding, so he said he wanted to propose in the desert since we are from Nevada, and so that our wedding would be even more amazing in the tropics.

What a great guy I have!!!
