Repost Brand new, in the box directly purchased from Ugg Australia. Size 7.5 but they run really big. (My guess is that they fit like an 8.5). I am typically a 7.5/8 and found the size 7 to fit me comfortably. I also have the size 7 that I wore for the ceremony and for an hour at our wedding reception. Soft nubuck shapes the Lucy wedge sandal from UGG Australia, in nude with braided raffia trim. UGG Australia "Lucy" nubuck sandal. 4 1/4" covered wedge; 3" equiv. Peep toe tops 1 1/4" platform. Straps crisscross over ankle. Fixed bow at back of counter. Leather lining and footbed. Braided raffia-trimmed midsole. Rubber sole provides traction. "Lucy" is imported. I had the hardest time finding a neutral colored wedge sandal to wear for my beach wedding. I'm 5'0 and needed some height but was worried about wearing heels in the sand. These wedge style sandals were perfect because they were soft, comfortable, and TALL! I was able to walk in the sand without sinking! I also really liked them because they blended in with the sand and gave the appearance that I was barefoot. This design has been discontinued and very hard to find so I purchased two pairs of these sandals and never returned the ones that were too big! Originally purchased for $115.00. Please make a reasonable offer for either pair if you're interested. Feel free to message me with any questions!

Boudoir Photos: It's the Gift Your Sweetheart Will Love
MarieSamSanchezPhoto posted a article in Planning
As I was planning my destination wedding several years ago, I spent many a nights with my head spinning in trying to decide what to gift my husband-to-be on our Wedding Day. There are sentimental favorites of course, like a handkerchief embroidered with his initials, a new set of cufflinks or a brand new watch. But I wanted to give him something that would knock his socks off -- something that he'd always remember and cherish. And so I decided to gift my sweetheart with an album full of boudoir photos starring me Yes, opting to book a boudoir session was something I had to talk myself into doing. Like many women, the thought of being photographed in lingerie was quite frankly freaking me out! I am definitely one of those women who isn't 100 percent confident with my body image, but I knew he would absolutely love this gift and I knew it would most definitely take him by surprise. And you know what, on our Wedding Day while he was getting ready for the festivities, he opened that album (with my photographer documenting each and every moment) and yes it made his heart skip a beat. It was ... The.Perfect.Gift. So if you're contemplating doing a boudoir session for your sweetheart as a Wedding Day gift, here are a few tips to consider when planning your boudoir shoot: 1) Do your research when booking a photographer. Look through plenty of portfolios/blogs and find a style that you love. You will find that much like wedding photography, boudoir photographers come in all price ranges -- but as the saying goes, you typically get what you pay for. Boudoir photography is an investment so look for consistency in style and quality in their work to ensure that you will get similar results. When it comes to boudoir photography, because it's such an intimate and personal experience, look carefully at reviews. Also make sure to book your session giving your photographer enough time to edit and deliver the photos before your Wedding Day (if you plan to order prints or an album, also make sure there's enough time to do this with your deadline in mind!). 2) Pick a photographer that offers products. Yes, you can certainly go the money savings route of printing your own photos or making your own album, but photographers often have access to professional labs who will create products that the typical consumer just doesn't have access to. These are high quality products that will last much longer than what you could ever find via Shutterfly or printing at Target -- plus do you really want the high school or college student working behind the counter at your local drugstore or Costco having access to such private photos? Think twice and if it's in your budget, invest in the professional grade products your photographer offers. 3) Consider the location for your photos. Does your photographer provide the location for your shoot? This is an important one to consider because it may require additional investment. Some photographers will provide the location (studio, hotel, etc.), but others will rely on you to provide the setting. Boudoir photographs can be done in the comfort of your own home or perhaps a friend's home -- just make sure you have plenty of privacy and lots of natural light! Setting matters when it comes to indoor portraits. 4) Invest in a hair/makeup stylist. This matters, trust me! Make a day of your boudoir session and get dolled up with both hair and makeup from a professional. Tell the stylist you hire that you'll be taking boudoir portraits and give him/her some inspiration photos so they have an idea of what you like. It will make a world of difference in your photos to use a professional stylist, plus you'll feel like a million bucks! And hey, plan a special date with your honey afterwards if you'd like. Take advantage of that gorgeous styling, don't let it go to waste!!! 5) Mix up your wardrobe. There is a belief that all boudoir photos have to be done with sexy lingerie. And while you should have at least a few photos with some gorgeous lingerie on, boudoir photos can be equally sexy with simple pieces. Consider wearing a jersey or clothing piece from your sweetheart's favorite sports team or college alma mater. Some of my favorite boudoir photos were shot with my bride just wearing a simple white tank with a cute pair of undies. You could also wear your spouse to be's favorite dress shirt and tie (leaving it open and unbuttoned of course!). And of course, you could also do nude or implied nude photos wearing just a simple white bedding sheet -- just make sure your photographer is OK and comfortable doing those types of photos. These photos are your vision, so make it your own and wear/bring things you think will get your honey's heart racing! 6) Relax and have fun. You're nervous, I get it. If you're not one of the 10 out of a million girls blessed with a bikini model's perfect body, then you will probably be nervous. And that's OK. If you feel inclined to diet or workout so you're in great/better shape before your shoot, do it. If you're not, hey no worries! You are perfect exactly how you are. But most women, have trouble/worry areas that make them nervous. The best thing to do is talk to your photographer ahead of time about the areas of your body that you are not confident with and share your concerns. This will give them a head's up when it comes to angling and photographing you in the best way possible. The most important thing is to relax and enjoy the process, so exhale, get pampered and enjoy the experience. Boudoir photography is a beautiful gift your spouse-to-be will love! The Extent of it All...Hair extensions, Eyelash Extensions and Extending Your Wedding Day Look into the Night! Hair Extensions have come a long way. They are much more common and an everyday tool for hairstyles. If used correctly hair extensions can make your style look lustrous and chic. Many of my brides ask if they should use hair extensions? I base my answer on a few questions. If you answer yes to any of them you are a candidate for hair extensions... 1) Do you want to wear your hair half up, half down but you don't have enough hair? 2) Do you want the "beach wave" look but don't want it to look like you got stuck under a wave? 3) Does your hairstyle fall out in the heat and/or humidity? 4) When you put your hair up does it look "puney"? If any of this sounds familiar then I would recommend hair extensions. Hair extensions can create volume to an up-do, thickness to a side swept look, chic to your chignon and you can also add height to your puff if you so desire. Hair extensions hold a curl like no ones business and have more staying power than just hairspray. While your natural hair may lose the curl throughout the day, your hair extensions (if curled and applied correctly) are there to camouflage and blend in to create soft, flowy curls. There are many different hair extensions to choose from. I recommend talking with your stylist first about the look you both want to create. After your trial and/or consultation your stylist will know what type of extensions you should purchase. Please keep in mind the hair color should match yours. Also, if you decide to wear your hair up, you do not need as good a grade of hair extensions. If you opt for a down style, you should invest in some good extensions. Reason being, when your hair is up, your stylist can hide the quality of the extensions. When your hair is down, the whole beauty of the style is lavish hair. Eyelashes- Just like hair extensions, there are TONS to choose from. Depending on the look you and your makeup artist decide on will be the deciding factor on what type of eyelashes you should use. Here are a few rules of thumb (beauty rules are ALWAYS made to be broken!). NOTE: If you are not accustomed to using lashes I always recommend individual lashes. They are extremely comfortable and light. Individual Lashes - Look best with a "Natural" look. Mixing different lengths will create a very realistic look. You can use long lashes at the corners of your eye for a very understated cat eye. Strips - Look best with a "Smokey", "Clean" and "Dramatic" look. Short-Medium lashes that are not too close set are great for a smokey eye. Strips that are just for the corners of your eyes are great for a cat eye and a clean look. Long, close set strips are great for a dramatic look. Extending the wear of your makeup - Before you start your makeup be sure to use a light-weight moisturizer for oily skin (even if you do not have oily skin). Stay away from any products that say "moisturizing", "dewey" or "glow." Your makeup artist can create a dewey or glowing look for you without you looking like your middle initials are KFC. Once your makeup is all done, use a setting spray. Don't spray too close and form an "X" as you spray. Unless you have a lot of experience with humidity, I recommend you stay clear from touching up your own makeup. Over-use of makeup, especially if you are perspiring, will result in a cakey look. Otherwise, stick to blotting papers or hire your artist for touch ups! I beg all you beautiful brides out there to stop being so hard on yourself. I bet that every single picture you have saved as your hair and/or makeup inspiration, the model is using hair extensions, eyelashes and she has someone touching her up after every shot. You can look EXACTLY how you imagine with the right tools and application. You are only a hair extension and eyelash away All my best, Melissa MVP Hair and Make-Up Artistry

The getting ready shot The getting ready shot. This one’s a classic! Get photos of the groom and groomsmen tying their bow ties, buttoning their vests, and donning their suit jackets. Make sure to capture the groom helping the ring bearer with his attire. So precious! The Chair Pose The chair pose. Guys and recliners have a history, right? You can mimic that connection by having the groom sit in a stuffed chair with his guys posed around him. The Superhero shot We love it when the guys in the wedding party wear superhero secrets under their wedding dress code, then pose with a few buttons undone to reveal the superhero symbols underneath. If they’re wearing superhero cufflinks, too…even better! The Groomsmen Pose Have the guys throw some sunglasses on and strike their coolest pose while the groom does the shoulder-brush attitude. The Cowboys The cowboys. Have the wedding party bring a hat. Dress down to the vests and put on your cowboy gear. If there’s a horse available, have the groom saddle up and pose with the groomsmen nearby. You can bring in other props like hay bales and rope, too The Stunt Doubles The stunt doubles. If you have a group of athletic guys in the wedding party, have the groom stand with his hands in his pockets or however he’s comfortable while the groomsmen chose to pose, jump, flip, or otherwise try to harness their inner stunt man. The Party Shot The party shot. A lot of guys enjoy a beer or cocktail, especially at a wedding. Get a photo of a toast with just the guys, or a candid shot of the guys laughing and enjoying a drink together. The Hollywood Stroll The Hollywood stroll. Have the groom take the lead in a casual stroll with his guys. The groom can wear sunglasses to stand out in the crowd and look more “Hollywood.” This is a natural and fun type of photo to capture. The Smoking Pose The smoking lounge. Break out the cigars and pose around a card table while you all enjoy them. The Bro Hugs The bro hugs. Even guys have to have some tender moments on the wedding day. Capture the groom giving his groomsmen bro hugs. These will be among the best shots of the day, we guarantee it! The Selfie Shot The selfie shot. There’s no avoiding cellphones these days. Why not incorporate them into your wedding photos? Have the guys each take a silly selfie and then pose with everyone holding their phone out towards the camera. Source: Perfect Wedding Guide ©DreamArt Photography 2010 - 2016. All Rights Reserved

Dear fellow users. I want to tell you that dressilyme sent me my dream wedding gown. I hope more brides will feel the way I did at my wedding day. The quality and craftsmanship of wedding gown is AMAZING. My process included providing pictures of the dress I wished for (as it was not within the standard selection profile), and Dressilyme was able to create the dress perfectly. Dressilyme was able to 1) match the exact design of the dress 2) use the correct quality material i.e. silk bodice, silk organza train etc... 3) measurements/dress size was accurate 4) send within the exact timeline and 5) had wonderful customer service to answer questions and provide status updates. The original dress would have cost me $1800 from the bridal store (plus at least $500 in tailoring), Dressilyme charged $189 plus $30 for custom measurements. I can't express my gratitude to be able to have a dream dress for a fraction of the price. Weddings are expensive and Dresssilyme helps to manage the cos of a wedding dress.A very happy wife, Christine

Perhaps it's because you haven't yet defined the right theme colors that will give you your dream wedding -- a complete vision of knowing what everything will look like. A vision that you will only get by choosing the right color and vibe to your wedding. I personally think that choosing your color palette is the next thing to do, right after you set the wedding date. The next big step that will define your wedding is choosing the right colors for your celebration because it will help you create the perfect wedding. Choosing the right color for your wedding gives you the chance to be creative and to set free the inner artist that we all have inside us and with each year's new color trends there is so much to play with. Once you pick your colors, you'll quickly discover that been creative is just the beginning of this exciting journey called wedding planning. Here are some of this year's most popular color trends -- a variety of daring and fun colors that will let you add your personal touch and uniqueness to your own wedding celebration. Let the fun begin! SPRING WEDDING COLOR TRENDS Natural Organic (Tropic, classic gray, Rain & Ivory) Now that the organic theme weddings are in, here are the perfect palette colors that will let you play and combine with the natural and elegant look. Brides like to choose these tones especially when it comes to picking their bouquet and/or centerpieces. So think in orchids, baby's breath, dustin miller, and succulents. Sunny Love (Tangerine, Pumpkin, Butter & Sage) I really think this palette was created with destination weddings in mind! If you are looking for fun colors that will allow you to get the best of your destination wedding by honoring the sun and still convey the touch of an organic wedding, look no more, this color combo is just for you! New Romance (Classic Blue, Dusk, Carnation & Silver) This color palette will allow you to integrate colors that will be suitable for him and still keep the feminine touch with the help of the blush tone. It brings the best of both worlds together by creating an elegant and romantic ambience. WINTER WEDDING COLOR TRENDS Glamour (Gold, Champagne, White & Custom Tan) With this combination, I can envision a wedding full of glamour and different decor options that will allow your wedding be a huge success even with minimum details. From elegant bridesmaid dresses to incredible reception tables, these colors will help create a glamorous environment. Daring (Black, Strawberry, White & Sage) Now these are very daring colors that will truly create a very passionate and unique vibe. Don't get confused with this palette thinking you might create a dark wedding, rather, think of it as very romantic and sexy colors that will go great with a final touch of a red lipstick! Blossom (Lavender, White, Sugar & Slate) This romantic combination will allow you to mix vintage with romanticism with a very rustic look and vibe. Again it is a palette that can be equally appreciated by the groom and the bride. Let your imagination fly! For many brides, the Wedding Day look includes more than just the dress, it's also all about the shoes! Doris Fight it out in night gown Spring is within the atmosphere! It’s time for you to shake the actual remnants associated with winter from the ol’ Uggs as well as turn your ideas towards the most recent trends popular... or a minimum of the most recent trends popular from the actual 1930s-1940s. All of us recently discovered 40 hand-drawn, hand-coloured gown designs through Maison Palanquin, a London fashion home known because of its evening gowns and customized day gowns, in the actual Doris Fight it out Charitable Basis Historical Records (featured within our recent display). Jeanne Palanquin (1869-1936), a French designer, was recognized for heavy, rich colours, luxurious materials, and contemporary and revolutionary designs. She tended to make use of materials which hugged your body on best and flowed about the bottom. We don’t understand if Palanquin created these dresses especially for Doris Fight it out, but, considering there's a patron quantity and particular fabrics mounted on the styles, it is actually highly likely these were styles only open to serious couture clients. A additional clue in to Doris Duke’s patronage is really a receipt through 1938 by which she bought 26 products from Palanquin with regard to 81. 650 francs. Looking via (as well as ooh-in as well as aah-in more than) each one of these amazing styles made all of us wonder that they would possess stacked up inside a show such as Project Runway. The saying goes, "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue." But what if that something borrowed was actually your wedding dress? The renting of high-end designer gowns is a growing trend and for some brides, it's the opportunity to wear a wedding dress they otherwise could not afford. Houston-based boutique Get the Gown was recently featured on their local news station as a business that offers gown rentals. And these aren't just any ol' gowns, the shop carries dresses from high-end designers such as Oscar De La Renta, Vera Wang, and Monique Lhullier. So dresses that would normally costs someone a pretty penny -- we're talking $4,000 to $13,000 to buy -- could be yours to wear for a rental fee of $800 to $1600 a week. For brides who want to rent but don't have a local storefront to turn to, Rent the Runway, is an online retailer that offers the same type of service at a fraction of the costs. The website even features a section dedicated to brides and bridesmaids with a variety of dress styles and accessories. And if that's not enough, you can also get $25 off your first rental. Rent or buy, the most important thing is that you feel good, confident and beautiful on your Wedding Day. And it's great to know that even if you've always dreamed of wearing a designer gown, but don't quite have a designer gown budget -- you now have options. So tell me, do you think the renting of a gown is practical? Or is it still to high of a price to pay for something you can only keep for a limited amount of time? Would you be open to renting your wedding gown?

I was doing some research as to what bustle would work better with my gown and I came across this lovely blog from a seamstress. She has some great tips, from "when is the right time to buy my gown" to what you should bring to your fittings. I thought it might be useful for a lot of us Happy planning! https://alterationsbychristy.wordpress.com/

I worked on my daughter's dress last night, and am trying to get opinions on which style I should do. She told me it was too "heavy" when I had the flowers around her chest, so I'm assuming that means it is a little tight? So I moved it down further on her torso, and now the flowers are more of a waist accent. I plan on changing the top part to one of the colors (probably a pink, but maybe white instead). Right now I just used an old skirt haha. You can't really see the leggings underneath, which is good. I don't want her to get upset about being scratched, so they are pretty long (but thin). What do you think on the two dress styles? Sleeveless Cap Sleeves I like the sleeveless with the chunkier necklace style (for a 3 year old), but would put a more delicate necklace on her with the sleeves, as I think that necklace is too much. I got her a silver starfish with blue stones for one of her gifts, so she would wear that. I like it both ways - I need others opinions on which to choose! And of course, she's a princess, so she got a tiara. In fact, I told her about it and all she did was twirl and ask for her "crown" lol. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts/opinions!

Hi Brides! I'm having a beach wedding in Mexico in June, with our reception in an open air restaurant so it's going to be hot. I don't want my guests to be miserable, but I also want everyone to look nice for pictures, but I'm having trouble figuring out what the right balance is. For you beach brides, what are you asking your guests to wear? Especially men--dress pants? Shorts? Dress shoes? Sandals? I want to be able to give some guidelines since several people have already asked, because I'm afraid I'll end up with some guys melting in a suit and some guys bummin' it in shorts and a t shirt. What do you think?
