This is such a great article. I was a villa bride. I got married at Hacienda del Mar in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico (Riviera Maya) and I cannot imagine doing it any other way. I just wrote a tip, though, about some of the challenges to consider when you get married at a villa instead of a resort. It's definitely worth the extra work required. Definitely!

I am also trying to plan a villa reception,it seems scary!!

This wedding looks fabulous and so do you courtyardbride! I would love to have a villa wedding, but it seems that villa weddings require quite a bit more planning and sometimes a bit more in terms of budget. (I promised my FH that we would work together to keep the budget low.)  This is definitely a tempting possibility!
