OOT Bags This or that?

Recommended Posts

Are OOT bags that serious? Or will they just end up not being used on the floor in the closet. Would guests prefer an OOT bag or upgraded dining or excursion options. I'm kinda the go big or go home type so I am debating if the OOT bags are worth the cost going big and not cheep flimsy bags ans supploes or should I leave them at home and invest in something else ???

I think you should do whatever feels good to you.  I ended up doing bags but struggled with the same decision.  We're not going to an all inclusive resort, and most people will only be there for a long weekend, so there wasn't really time to schedule an excursion in addition to the welcome party/dinner, wedding, and brunch the next day.  But I think either would be really nice and you should do whatever will make you feel the fuzziest when you look back on it!

Thanks for the response. I'm just thinking I can stockpile aspirin and sunscreen and have some essentials avalilalibe for any one who forgets. That may be more efficient. We have lots of little things for guests "earn through out the weekend so the initial bag may be overkill

Also, if it helps, I feel like I sort of ended up going "all out" on the bags and they're going to be about $25 each, including the price of the bag itself.  I sewed my own bags and the bag itself (a beach bag) came out to about $5 each - I think you could find something niceish for that price.  So it it helps to compare the $25 price tag to some kind of event, there you go!

@marymack if I do them I will defiantly customize them with a fun funky Jamaica word patter and the number 14. As it is our 14th anniversary and 2014 so it will be a remembrance that guests can use them again. There is a small company that offers great custom work and prices that I will work with. If I do them.
