Any other 2014 brides here getting an early start?

I think I am very lucky to be able to get an early start on planning a wedding! I will be able to do all the DIY's I can get into! AND hopefully save money by finding deals! Anyone else blessed as well?

I am getting married at the outer banks in North Carolina. I have a lot of details in my head but just have not started anything yet. BUT next time I'm at the craft store I'm going to start getting supplies for a few DIY's that I really want to do first! I can wait to start but its already kind of overwhelming thinking about everything i have to get done!

Oh Wow, good for you. I am still clueless as to where and what I want to do. All I know is I want to have a destination wedding, That's it, anything else I'm a big mess.

That's is the only thing I know right now too!  Just starting to explore all of the options!

2014 bride here...after reading so many threads I'm very overwhelmed. For starters I'm not a crafty person. When are you ladies sending out invitations? I'm deciding on 14 months for the STD and 12 months for the invitations.

I'm getting married in May of 2014, and I just started planning this week.  So far, I know that we'll be getting married in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  The wedding will be small to medium in size.  I'm definitely going to need a wedding coordinator.  I'm so excited.
