Blue Venado???

I'm almost sure this is where I will have my reception.  Does anyone have any pictures? or anything I should know that is negative about this place before I take the plunge? or what food is good? reviews?

Hi! I'm considering this place too. My fiancee and I are going the for a tasting today so I'll let you know!

Lucky lucky you!! I have to pick the food without tasting it  

Someone else on here is going next week and giving me her feedback as well.  Having 2 people's feedback will be wonderful!

I will aslo love a second opinion! especially given the blue venado tastings you can only try 2 dishes and i found it really hard to choose

i dont think my fiance realises that given we are cramming site visits into a weekend that theres not going to be a whole lot (if any) of  time to chill on the beach.he keeps posting stuff on facebook like "we're going to playa del carmen next weekend" all excited so im trying to gently point out that we're going to be having meetings and seeing places rather than relaxing hahahaha

Hi all,

I am getting married at Blue Venado in Nov. 2012... we're going to visit sometime this spring but I'd also appreciate any feedback you have!

I am confident it's a great pick as my planner (Erica of weddings in playa) is fantastic and highly recommended the venue and food, saying she often uses the chef for catering.

Looking forward to sharing info when I get back.

ok here are 3 photos of blue venado for future brides. the first shows it in daylight with no decoration - is pretty much a blank canvas you can do what you like with

the second is to show the small permanent deck area...could be used as a dance floor if you dont want to pay to have a temporary one put in

the third is mainly to show the lighting that comes with the venue...(and it got darker) so more would probably be needed
