Guestbook idea for small guest count?

There will be about 14 guests at our wedding so I am not sure what to do for a guestbook. Any ideas? I am currently considering a mat for people to sign or a small platter. But I know there are some creative ladies on here so I am open to suggestions. Thanks!

We are doing a photo book, I bought chalkboard signs they could write a funny quote and take a picture, they will also write their well wishes in the book next to their photo. We have about 20 people coming and I wanted it to be something I be able to look at and laugh at on the future, as opposed to just signatures or thumb prints.

The photo guest book is around 20 pages, we got ours for about $30 personalized and on sale!

Thumbprint guestbook?

We did a fingerprint tree that we purchased from etsy.  We worked with the seller who peronslized one and made it smaller as we only had 18 guests.  I'm so glad we did this and can't wait to get it framed to hang it in our house!

I think we will be buying postcards once we are down there, and get them to write a message on those. Although I do like that chalkboard idea above as well!

We are going to do mad libs. it fits with our sense of humor, should be fun with our wacky bunch of guests, and will be something to look back at. we will also do a group photo with all of our guests, and I think that will be the primary moment. 

We are doing postcards for our guest book. Once I get down there I'll go and purchase them and then leave them out for everyone to sign. And then eventually put them in a book!

We are doing message in a bottle, setting out a large glass bottle in our wedding colors and small cute paper with ribbons and asking people to write us a tip/well wish, etc on the paper and tie it up and put it in the bottle. We are still looking for some cute wording to put out asking people to write us a note.

We aren't sure what we will do as the end product, perhaps make a scrapbook and put pictures of guests from the wedding beside their note or something along those lines.

We were thinking of doing a mad lib idea, I thought they would be fun to read throughout the years.
