Wedding Ornament Keepsake - DIY - Post Wedding Gift (Pics)

I just found this super cute idea (thanks pinterest!). Create your own wedding ornament keepsake using your invitation ... or sand from the beach at your wedding. You could use your bouquet charm, left over ribbon, place cards or OOT tags to decorate it. So many possibilities!

This is a great idea. My sister just suggested it to me actually as a way to save my bouquet (sort of) - so I could dry some petals or a flower head and pop it in there. I actually think it'd make a cute gift for someone who wanted to but couldn't attend your wedding - so you could make them some with sand and a small beach charm and tell them you brought the beach back to them!

Definitely a cute idea..I plan on giving our guests decorated sand dollars that will have cancun 2012 on them since our wedding is only a few weeks before christmas!
