Upgrade to Sheila's bakery cake - worth it?

We're getting married at the ROR in a month and I'm wondering what those of you who did/didn't do the upgrade think? Also, which flavours of cake did you decide on?

Sheila's was fabulous. I had a beautiful cake - yellow cake with strewberry filling and buttercream frosting. I just decorated it the way I wanted it once it arrived on site. For me, it was worth the small upgrade (I think it was $250 or $300 - feels like a long time ago!)

My husband was set on having the traditional cake; therefore, we purchased a traditional (black) rum Jamaican cake from an outside vendor. It was 2-tiers and decorated with flowers in our colors for $250. It was delicious! Norma with Lee's Tours & Taxis coordinated our cake purchase for us.

I want to upgrade. I'm big on cake. I know not a lot of people will proly eat the cake but i want it! I'm not sure how to post pics...but I'll try to post my cake

I was wondering about this myself. Not sure if I can fit this into my budget.

I am also on a budget and would be interested in seeing pics of the cakes the resort provides.

What wold I do without you ladies, I have not even really though about the cake. $250, for how many people is that because I plan on having about 50-65.

My cake would have been more than enough for 50-65 people We had more than 1/2 cake left over and we had about 28 people

I just got an email back fro Sheila and she quoted me for $470 US!!!!! Yeah, and my cake is super simple and I'm only going to have 25 people. I would love to post a pick but after countless hrs trying to learn how to post pics I give up.
