Okay, here we go.  I got married on April 9, 2011 at the Sandos Playacar, and in hindsight, I WISH I wasn't stressed the whole 2 days before the wedding b/c it was PERFECT.  I'm going to keep this short as I can. 

Maria is awesome.  leave everything to her and she will take care of it, so do not stress.

Hair Salon- The did a great job on the hair, but spoke zero English and were very rude.  We asked if we could have alcohol in the room while getting our hair done and they laughed at us…and said nothing, so we went to the bar and brought a few drinks in.  I had also received an email form the manager (before heading there) what the cost would be b/c I didn't want any hidden expenses, HOWEVER when we got there it was $100 per person, they quoted me $65 for my girls and $100 for me.  THEN, they took so long that I only had 30 minutes to do my make-up and get dressed.  I kept explaining to them that I needed to go, but again, they spoke no English.  FINALLY when my hair was done, I asked for a golf cart to pick me up since it was such a long walk back to the room, and I was pressed for time.  Again, I was given an attitude. I saw Maria and explained to her and she called and had a cart there for me ASAP.

The ceremony was short and sweet, but  very windy and my hair & veil  was all over the place. SO PULL YOUR HAIR BACK!!

Reception- we did the Italian restaurant, Maria had closed the whole place down for us.  It was perfect.

Afterwards, we went to the back bar by the pool and all just hung out and drank.  Dave and I left early, but everyone said they went to the disco and had a blast!

Our Room- 9331- BEST.ROOM.EVER, clean HUGE with a Jacuzzi tub on the balcony and inside the room.

Service- Everyone was great.  We had a treat in our room every night we got home.  Champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, tequila w/ shot glasses, fruit, cakes, candy, there was always something. 

Rafael- Pool Bartender is awesome!  "nuff said

Brazilin & Mexican restaurants were the BEST!

Anyway, don't worry about the details, it will all  work out and be perfect.  I wish I could go back in time w/ this knowledge so I wasn't so nervous and stressed.

My Guest, some of them had trouble w/ house keeping coming late( 4 pm) they were in the rooms 9267 area. When they wanted to nap b/f going out,  housekeeping was there.

Also, for 3 nights, ever night, a VERY LOUD alarm was going off every hour for 5 hours, starting at midnight.  ALL my guest heard it, but we were farther away so I didn't hear it.  Sandos did not know how to stop it.

And 3 people claimed to get sick, but I personally think it was too much booze, sun and food.
