I highly recommend using Devon and Sophia from Jamaica Wedding Photos for wedding photography services in Jamaica. Devon and Sophia have been nothing but professional, proactive, and easy to work with.

After the dress, the photographer was my most important priority for the wedding. After all, they are what you will always have for memories. I contacted over 10 photographers in Jamaica before deciding to go with Jamaica Wedding Photos. I was able to narrow down the list to two photographers based on price, quality, and promptness of their replies. After much consideration (and watching EVERY slideshow on their website), I decided to go with Devon and Sophia. Their total package (1300 for 3 hours of photography, website, CD of pictures, slideshow AND picturebook) could not be beat!

On the day of the wedding, Devon and his assistant Roger showed up about an hour before the scheduled time and started taking pictures right away for no additional cost. They were very professional and polite. I had sent them a list of requests before hand (must-take shots, my preferences for pictures/editing, etc) which they brought to ensure that I got everything I asked for. They were very unobstrusive while taking the photos. For the most part, I completely forgot that they were there, even when they were doing the after ceremony bride/groom photos!

All of the editing/slideshows were done about two weeks after we returned from the honeymoon. While viewing the slideshows, I was amazed at the quality of my photos. I got married at Catcha Falling Star in Negril. Catcha's located on the west end of Negril which is famous for their sunsets. I really wanted to capture those gorgeous sunsets and asked for a lot of pictures with the sunset in the background. Pictures with a light source behind you are VERY difficult to shoot. Devon more than delivered on my wish list! We got five slideshows full of pictures (WAY more than we expected), and there wasn't a bad picture in the bunch! He took pictures that I would never have thought would work and made us look beautiful!

We're still waiting on the photobook and CD, but I have no doubt that it will look superb! If you're getting married in Jamaica, I can't imagine a better photographer than Devon!
