I was married on February 5, 2011 at The Royal in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We opted to bring in our own wedding photographer, rather than using the one on staff at the resort, because the photos were extremely important to us and we wanted the best! Fortunately, we found it!

What originally drew me to Claudia Rodriguez Wedding Photography was a combination of great, high quality photos, positive reviews from other brides and fair prices. I reached out to Claudia about a year prior to my wedding date to see if she was available for our wedding, however, she was already booked and asked if there was another photographer on her team that I would like to work with. After scouring her website further and investigating all of the other photographers within her company, we decided to book Claudia's brother, Erick.

On the day of our wedding, Erick arrived on time with two assistants (I had expected only one assistant, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Erick had brought the extra help!). He was extremely professional, gracious and never intrusive on our day. Erick was also great about telling us exactly what he wanted, rather than just standing by and watching my husband and I fumble around trying to figure out good poses ourselves  My husband and I tend to pretty shy, too, and we felt really comfortable with Erick from the beginning.

Erick captured tons of great shots of our ceremony and all of our guests, but our favorite photos were the ones he did of just the two of us on the beach. They are all simply STUNNING, and we couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. He took a great variety of shots and did amazing things with the light!

After we finished taking pictures, and at the beginning of the reception, Erick asked my husband and I if he could set up the projector screen that he had brought with him and put up a slideshow of some of the photos that he had taken just hours before. We were pleasantly surprised by the offer, and accepted, of course. Then Erick went to work retouching the photos on his laptop right there on the spot while we ate dinner. All of our guests LOVED seeing the slideshow after dinner, and were totally impressed with Erick's work. I had several people come up and ask me afterward how I had found such an amazing photographer. One couple even mentioned that they'd want to hire him to shoot their tenth wedding anniversary party!

We were all very impressed with Erick and his team. We didn't even plan for the slideshow, and many of our guests commented about how it was one of their favorite parts of the wedding! Claudia was also a pleasure to work with, and always very responsive and gracious through email. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our wedding photos, and I would recommend Claudia and Erick to any bride in a heartbeat!
