My husband and I are from Southern California and got married in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on September 29, 2009 at the Iberostar Tucan resort.  We were on a very tight budget and it was our original plan to use the resort's photography package (the kind where you pose and say "cheese"), but on a last minute whim I came across Sweet Caribbean Photography on the internet by just doing a google search for Cancun Photographers.  I immediately fell in love with Dani & Jose's photojournalist style and bright, vivid colors so I contacted them about 1 week before my wedding date to see if they would be available to shoot my wedding.  Dani responded promptly and we set up a time to meet upon our arrival to Playa Del Carmen the next week.  I would like to mention that Dani and I had never spoken over the phone, and really there was no need to because she was always very prompt in returning emails.

Two days before my wedding Jose and Dani met my future husband and I at our resort and we instantly clicked!  They were they cutest, sweetest, and fun loving couple and our "meeting" turned into good times right away.  We showed them the location of where the wedding ceremony was going to be located and just gave them free range to do whatever they wanted when they were to come back to shoot the wedding.  I could tell that they loved what they do and they were some real artists so I wanted to not confine them with a bunch of orders but instead let them seize the opportunity to create art on my wedding day which is EXACTLY what they did and we were all so pleased! :]

On the day of our wedding Jose and Dani arrived earlier than expected and they both got a chance to shoot my husband and I as we got ready in our separate quarters.  I am very camera shy so I was surprised that most of the time I didn't even notice Dani taking photos because she was never in the way (my husband says the same about Jose).  Also during our ceremony I have no idea how they got the AMAZING photos they did because I didn't notice them at all but apparently they were all over the place capturing those incredible memories. 

Our photo session after the ceremony was my favorite because they implemented the most creative ideas which resulted in very beautiful and unique shots.  Jose and Dani pulled out all the stops and were not afraid to get down and dirty for us (Dani in particular was waist high in the ocean and it didn't phase her one bit!).  Needless to say we got some amazing photos out of it all. 

Last but not least!  Dani and Jose surprised us about 3 days later by bringing us 4 dvds full of all the photos they took from the wedding to our resort PLUS two (2) large posters of  2 different shots of my husband and I, two (2) hand crafted photo albums with select 4x6 prints inside, and another bundle of 4x6 prints.  We were floored!  I did not expect to have our photos so soon and especially not to go home with the beautiful care package that they gave us. 

Dani and Jose really were a joy to work with and I would definitely give them my highest recommendation!
