We had our dream wedding at Las Caletas this past November at Las Caletas and we all cannot stop raving about the perfect time it was. We found Las Caletas online and after reading through many amazing reviews, we booked it sight unseen. We chose the Premiere package, which included a site inspection. We chose to see the site in April, and visiting Las Caletas further confirmed that we made the best choice for our venue!! 

It was a different concept to us to begin official planning with our wedding coordinator only 3 months before the wedding, but planning could not have been easier and stress free! Andreea Teliban was our wonderful coordinator and we could not be any more pleased with working with her and the execution of our wedding! She was quick to respond to our countless e-mails and was always available to offer a suggestion. Planning was truly stress-free with Andreea from beginning of planning to the night of the wedding. Our guests commented on how seamless and smooth the event went, which was great to hear! Andreea met us at our hotel the day before the wedding and ran through every single detail of the wedding with us and gave us each a folder with timelines and information. It was a very relaxing meet-up because it was clear she had everything in order.

November was a beautiful time to get married at Las Caletas because the rainy season in Puerto Vallarta had just ended by that time. The mountains that surrounded the beach were very lush and green. The forecast showed rain for our wedding day for whole week leading up to our wedding. Andreea had a clear back up plan if there were still a chance for rain. She reassured us that the tropical rain is usually pretty brief and it's nothing to worry about. The day of the wedding, the forecast changed to no rain at all! The skies were overcast. which made for perfect lighting for photos. 

The bride:

The make-up and hair crew did an excellent job with my wedding day make up! I was a bit nervous about how makeup and hair would turn out, so I booked a hair and make-up trial the day before the wedding to use as a look for my Welcome Dinner. The women did an amazing job and they were all so sweet for both days. Booking a trial put my mind at ease on the day of the wedding.

Me and my early girls left for Las Caletas the morning of the wedding to spend the day relaxing before we got ready for the wedding. It was such an amazing and relaxing experience with Breakfast, Lunch, a butler, and endless champagne and tequila with a beautiful view of the ocean! The bridal suite was gorgeous and my ladies were in awe! There were plenty of spots for great photos when we were getting ready too! They had bluetooth speakers, which was a great touch! All the extras offered at Las Caletas were great touches. I treated my bridesmaids with massages from the Las Caletas spa, which was a well spent extra!

We spent extra on a speedboat for the groom and his groomsmen to get to Las Caletas. They all loved it and we totally think it was worth it!

What more is to say about the venue? It was absolutely stunning. The private beach is exactly why we chose this venue. It was a perfect intimate event for us and our 50 guests. Our guests loved the boat ride to and from the beach. The food was AMAZING, and it's a detail that all of our guests never fail to mention. The premiere package included tons of food and desserts that were all delicious. 

DJ Fernando did an excellent job at playing our selected songs! There were no lulls and the party was jumpin! He even came to the bridal suite earlier in the day to confirm with me in person a song that was a last minute change. He kept the party going on the boat too! He had played our wide selection of Rap/HipHop/RnB/and soul music. It was fantastic! 

The florals were beautiful and we went for a beautiful Circle Arch. It was wonderfully executed and looked amazing in all our photos!! 

We put a deposit on a Black Friday Special, which included a Parrot RIngbearer and Fire Dancers. Both were amazing extras that we are so glad we had!! It impressed us all!

We just received our proofs for our wedding photography, and the photos came out AMAZING. Cristian did an amazing job! The beach is very dim lit with candles and a few lights from the dj booth, so I was worried that the photos would come out dark, but they all came out vivid and bright! Cristian also did a Trash the Dress shoot at our hotel a couple days after the wedding. The photos were beautiful and he took such creative shots. 

We invested in a firework show on the boat ride back. It was breathtaking and such a beautiful way to end the night, we loved this option!!

Las Caletas also offered an option for a shuttle ride to/from the main resort that my guests were staying at. This was well worth the investment because after a whole evening of open bar, I don't think my guests would have been able to find taxis in one piece!! 

Andreea and her team gave us a beautiful, private, romantic, and intimate wedding---exactly what we were looking for! We felt pure magic with out guests and it was all thanks to Las Caletas!

Overall, We are so glad we chose Las Caletas!! If you are thinking about booking it sight unseen, go ahead and do it! We did and we are sooo thankful we found Las Caletas! Thank you 100000x Andreea and the whole Las Caletas team!
