Pros: Great music, very professional
Cons: communication

I used DJ Doremixx at my wedding reception at El Dorado Royale on 1/8/2011 and he was fantastic.

We had a wide variety of ages and he was able to get my 75 year old parents up on the dance floor tearing it up!  It was incredible.  Everyone had a fantastic time.

Best parts of the night were the props he brought with him - masks, balloons - that everyone enjoyed dancing around with and made for entertaining pictures.  He had people dancing most of the night and everyone enjoyed it.  We had other guests who passed by thinking our party was where the late night disco was and tried to crash it.  It was great.

Only gripes I might have were communication - which was difficult at times, particularly once we were down there.  I tried to confirm our plans 2 weeks in advance but he was on vacation and out until after we were already in Mexico.  It was difficult to nail down an appintment time this way but we got it done without too much of an issue.

There was 1 or 2 songs that had different versions of it and he downloaded an incorrect version so made it a little awkward.  I had made him a CD with our special songs but he said he could download.  Had I thought about the numerous versions, I would have forced the CD but not a big deal.

Last thing I wish I would have done differently is put more specific songs that were important to us.  I put some artists but those didn't get played only where I had indicated specific songs.  I wish I would have given more so the music was more "us" and he would have gladly played them.

In the end, everyone had a fantastic time and I wouldn't hesitate to hire this DJ again in a minute!  And he was less expensive than the resort DJ by far!!
