I just had my wedding on January 14, 2017 at Kool Beach Club and it was amazing. We were looking for a venue that was private, close to downtown Playa Del Carmen, was spacious, not on the sand but with beach access and we found it at Kool Beach Club. The venue has a restaurant area under lighted palm trees which is where we had our dinner. We had beach beds set up pool side for lounging and relaxing, and then we had a dance floor on the patio next to the bar. We had a large wedding of 200 people and we just fit, anything larger may not fit unless you have it on the beach, smaller parties would do really well at this venue. We loved that our guests had the option to walk out to the beach if they wanted but could stay formal and keep their shoes on too. The food was delicious, we had the surf n turf option and even those not keen on eating fish were amazed by the fish and thought they were delicous! The wedding coordinator, Alejandrina, did an amazing job. She was very responsive via email, she helped with everything from transportation, to decoration, to entertainment. She was so patient with us and our ever changing guest list number. She was always helpful and positive. We loved working with her. We did not use any other outside coordinator because she did it all! She was amazing! Also, since the location is in downtown PDC, many of our guests walked over to the night club area after the wedding to keep the party going. We had a wonderful evening and the decorations turned out better than I expected!
