Samuel and his girlfriend shot our destination wedding and trash the dress session in Riviera Maya, Mexico, on April 19th and 20th, 2015.
They were incredible. In researching for a photographer, we came across Samuel. His photos were gorgeous and creative, and the reviews of his work were second to none. The reviews of other couple’s experiences sold us. It appeared that Samuel made the shoots feel effortless to the bride and groom, creative, and fun. We reached and out and from the first email, I could feel the excitement and the culture in conversations with Samuel.
The whole experience was effortless on our part. We showed up, and Samuel did the rest. We were able to focus on our night and our pictures turned out amazing. Samuel had all of the angles, shots, ideas, already planned out, so it was really as easy as could be. I almost forgot to mention that my wife was sick and throwing up from food poisoning on the way to the alter on the beach! She held it together long enough to capture some great photos during and after the ceremony, and the photos really turned out amazing.
The trash the dress was a great time. Samuel picked us up and drove us to a local beach not far from the Now Jade resort. We played around in the water and had a fun time. After seeing our photos, people have asked us if the pictures came out of a J. Crew magazine! Ha!
Overall, all of the photos are breathtaking. Of course there are our favorites, and specifically those that we look at and remember everything about that day; we are taken back to the essence of the most beautiful time in our lives.
As for the personalities of Samuel and his girlfriend, they just fun to be around; joyous, excited, easy. The Spanish culture is a beauty of its own and this team radiated it. They truly completed our experience in Mexico.
We would recommend none other than Samuel Luna for any photography requests in Mexico. I am sure that we will use him for fun shoots when we return to paradise!
