We had our wedding on Thanksgiving Day 2015 at Secrets Wild Orchid resort.  We had 25 guests in our group ranging from 27 - 64 years old. Our group included single men and women as well as couples.  Let me just say that EVERYONE had a WONDERFUL, FUN time!!  There was always something going on at one of the pools, singing at the buffet restaurant, interactive evening entertainment and can't forget the night disco and late night restaurant offering a good variety of foods and not just snacks.

Also, EVERYONE loved the "Jerk Chicken Man" serving up fresh, hot jerk chicken during the day and evening hours. 

The wedding coordinators were AWESOME!!  It began to rain while I was in hair and make-up and I received the dreaded phone call, that the reception will have to be moved inside.  I was so disappointed and began crying.  The ballroom was a little generic looking, and I didn't have a really good décor for the inside.  The wedding coordinators told me everything was going to be beautiful and just relax and enjoy the moment. When we went to the reception space, it was decorated  with palm trees and up lighting.  Everything did look BEAUTIFUL!!  Also, my guests was very happy to be in an air conditioned room.  :)

I have to give a Very Special Shout Out to the Best Travel Agent ever, Babs from Wright Travel Agency.  She was the one who recommended this resort and my guests and I was NOT disappointed.  In fact, we can't wait to go back to SWO resort again!!
