We got married at Dreams Riviera Cancun on Nov. 24, 2010 and didn't know what to expect as far as the whole destination-wedding details were concerned. Being the oldest in my family and first person to be married in many, many years, I was clueless about planning a wedding. When choosing a destination wedding, it becomes a priority to capture your wedding due to the scenery and location you are in. As we were budgeting, it was important to us to hire a photographer that would help us relive our wedding for many years to come. I found Claudia through another bride site's recommendation, and contacted her almost immediately after we had determined our destination location. Not only was she attentive and very easy to communicate with, but she thought about many detail that didn't even cross my mind. For example, I was scheduled to get married at 5 p.m. in November. I didn't even think at the time that sunlight would be a problem for this time, during this time of year. Claudia brought this to my attention and we immediately changed the start of our wedding to allow for proper outside light. She also recommended colors to me, when I asked, of what photographed the best for bridesmaid dresses. We were in constant contact for a year, and she was still corresponding with me up to days before the wedding. 

The day of the ceremony was very stressful for me because it had downpoured all morning and my wedding was outside on the beach, so Claudia entered the room at a time when we were all scrambling to finish getting ready and make last-minute decisions. She lit up the room with her wonderful personality and was a pleasure to be around. She was very patient and made suggestions that were very helpful. My husband also had Claudia's assistant in his room and said the same thing, raving about his professionalism. We had a large group of over 50 people and Claudia handled the chaos with ease. She was also very receptive to our suggestions of pictures we wanted, and came up with a plethora of creative shots on her own. We didn't get the cookie-cutter poses that you usually see, we got something much, much more realistic with Claudia's perspective.

Upon receiving the pictures (which were sent, mailed and received within a few weeks of the wedding!), we were absolutely stunned at how they turned out. Different perspectives, different lenses, different lighting techniques and "fly-on-the-wall" perspectives coupled with the traditional wedding photos to provide a deeper insight into our wedding day than even we remembered. We were also so happy to have the entire disk at our disposal to make copies for ourselves and our friends/family. Many people don't ever want to take out their wedding pictures because they are embarrassed of their poses/look or the pictures, but my husband and I can't stop sharing our beautiful memories with everyone. We are so happy to have these beautiful memories for many, many years to come thanks to Claudia and her crew.
