My wife and I just got married at Viceroy Riviera Maya and it was magical! From the moment you choose them as your wedding venue they handle every minute detail with incredible professionalism. Laura is extremely good at what she does. She responds to every email quickly and answers every question you have in full detail. When you set foot on the property the staff treats you like royalty. They will take care of anything you need, and they do it with genuine enthusiasm. The property is beautiful. It's like walking onto fantasy island. There are monkeys in the trees, iguanas and other random exotic animals walking around, and the ocean is teal blue. Our party reserved about 11 rooms so I got to see a lot of them and even the base level room is a once-in-a lifetime experience. We stayed in the beachfront villa and it was unbelievable. It has its own pool, which you can have set to any temperature, an outdoor shower, a very comfortable bed, and you can step off your back deck onto the beach. The people on the beach stare at your villa with envy as they walk by. There was an NHL player hanging out at the main pool all weekend and rumors of an A-list celebrity staying there as well. The only thing that surpasses the beauty of the property is the service from the staff. They tidy up your room every time you leave, there is always somebody nearby to get you anything you need and they serve you with genuine sincerity (not just for a tip). This is truly a world-class hotel and they will throw you a world-class wedding. Our guests were stunned by our wedding.
