We got married at Now Larimar on 8-30-2014. I contracted DJ Mannia's services months in advance because of the majority of positive reviews, and I'm glad I did! We had a group of about 90 people come down to Punta Cana with us, a very diverse group at that, in age and race. Therefore, we needed to ensure we hired a DJ who knew how to mix a good variety of music to entertain the entire crowd. I communicated for several months with the company, who by the way promptly responded to all emails within 24 hours. I ended up hiring them for our 4 hr reception in the ballroom, as well as renting the largest wooden floor they had to accommodate a group as large as mine. I submitted a group profile to the company as they requested, ensuring that they knew the age range and type of music we thought would satisfy the crowd (which was basically everything!), and my husband actually wished the company "good luck" on that email since we thought they had a lot to satisfy! We did not give them specific songs to play during the party (other than the first dances, bridal party intro), we just gave genres.

We get to meeting our wedding coordinator a few days before the wedding and we go over the outside services we hired. She unexpectedly informs us that the DJ company needed to be there no later than 11am the day of the wedding to set up the dance floor so she could oversee the setup and ensure everything is done correctly. I emailed the company immediately and let them know of this, hoping that this wouldn't be an issue. Sure enough, the day of the wedding my WC informed me that they'd come and set up as requested, no problem!

Right before the ceremony started, our DJ German came up to us and introduced himself, went through the pronunciation of our bridal party names and confirmed the special song requests. My hubby and I actually decided to scrap the bouquet and garter tosses at the last minute, which was fine by German, and the flow of events went on without a hitch. He and his crew played a great variety of Top 50 songs, Spanish dance songs, and old school dance songs. Our group partied he night away! I mean even in between dinner courses a couple ended up getting up to dance since the music was so good!

German and the crew were polite, professional and fun to work with! Definitely would recommend to a bride with a party vibe!
