At first, I was leery of spending $300/hr for a DJ.  We only had 37 people and I wasn't sure it would be worth it.  I could not have been MORE wrong!  Doremixx TOTALLY made our party!  All of the music was awesome, fun dance music.  Our guests couldn't sit in their seats!!  We were joking that our party started dancing before dinner was even served... to the background music!  Once the balloons and masks came out it was game on!  Loved the cold fireworks during our first dance - great pics! I don't think I sat down all night.  I was definitely on a budget but cannot be happier that I splurged on having Doremixx. It was so great, we extended their play time an extra hour!  TOTALLY WORTH IT!  

They played all of the special dance songs (first dance, father/daughter, etc) just as I had requested.  Ivan always responded to my e-mails quickly.  He sent a helpful timeline template to fill out and song lists if we wanted to choose our own songs.  We didn't specify any songs to be played for dance music, we just left it up to him.  We couldn't have picked any better songs or asked for a better play list.  He played all the best, fun music and it is so great the way he mixes the music.  He plays the best part of every song and then jumps to the best part of the next song --SO FUN!!

My only complaint is that he is in Mexico and I can't hire him to do events here in Washington state!

I can't say enough good things.  All I will say is BOOK THEM AND YOU WON'T BE SORRY!!!

We saw other weddings at the resort that had a different DJ, or they chose to just bring an ipod and play on the sound system.  Our party was WAY more fun than any of these.  Of course, it depends on your crowd, but from what we saw Doremixx was the way to go.  All of our guests made the same observations and comments.  Everyone said it was the best reception they had ever been too!
