My now husband and I booked this resort with the intent of having our wedding either here or on the beach at the sister property, Legends. The resort's wedding coordinator is the worse nightmare a bride could experience. Trying to reach her by phone was impossible, so I would email her my questions. A week later she would respond with I'll call you to discuss, only to never receive a call. After only 3 weeks of trying to plan my wedding from the US through this resort, I gave up and found another coordinator. Isabelle Stewart came to my rescue, and gave me the dream wedding I wanted at Charela Inn. Yes, it cost me more to go offsite, but it was worth it.

Since our rooms were already paid for at Samsara, we did stay here. If you choose to stay here, don't forget the bug spray and make sure you do the upgrade to Oceanview Superior. These rooms are air conditioned, unlike the standard garden rooms. Many of our 30 guests quickly upgraded upon arrival, as standards, aka the saunas, were impossible to stay in. Now, for a positive, Owayne, the bartender, is the best in Negril. After a couple of his tummy warmers, me and my guest forgot the resort was a dump.
