Eventos Euforia
My husband and I got married in December (2013) in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Being an interior designer, I didn't want our wedding to be anything ordinary, so eventually we scrapped our 'resort wedding' and opted for something completely different. We decided to hire Denise (Eventos Euforia) to guide us along the way. It is important to remember that we did not hire Denise to do everything from A to Z (even though she is 100% qualified), as our budget wouldn't allow us to. Despite that fact, I felt like she was along side us the entire time, answering any questions we had and gave us a sense of really 'being there' for us- which I cannot express how much easier it made everything and how much less stressful it made the experience!!
Planning a wedding so far away defiantly had it's challenges! By having Denise help me along the way, guiding me and coodinating certain vendors definitely helped take a nice load off my shoulders. My husband and I decided to fly to Mexico (3 weeks before the wedding) to scout out our locations (Boca del Puma for our ceremony- which is a jungle with a cenote), and John Gray's Kitchen, for our reception. While we were there we met with Denise who took the time to meet with the vendors that I had chosen, which I couldn't have been more happy about. She even drove us to our next appointment, and took the time to make sure the location would work, and logistics (even though I was the one taking care of the locations). She also took care of storing some decor I had brought on our first trip, to allow for a lighter load the 2nd time 'round.
Denise constantly went out of her way to help in any way she could and never made our (low) budget an issue. I loved working with her and loved her enthusiasm!! She was as excited as I was- it was like she was planning her own wedding! That is how much you can tell she loves her job and it shows through every aspect of her work. I also loved that she has a creative mind, like myself! It was nice for someone to get my crazy ideas and understand the look I was going for!
I don't know who her 'cake' lady is, but she made our cake and cupcakes, and they were AMAZING, both in looks and in taste!!! Same thing for her 'flower lady'. I had one of the most spectacular bouquets I had EVER seen!! The bridesmaids' bouquets as well!! They were so perfect!
If you are looking for someone to plan your wedding from A to Z, OR have someone guide you along the way, coordinate suppliers, and decorate the day of- I would HIGHLY recommend Denise. I promise she will make everything run smoothly!! She is SO worth hiring!!!!
My ONLY con was trying to get our payments to go through Eventos Euforia's bank account. This had nothing to do with Denise, but definitely made it a bit stressful the day before the wedding as they still had not received the payment we had sent. Of course, Denise being the professional that she is, made SURE that everything was taken care of even though the payment was "frozen" the day of our wedding. To be honest I was worried I wouldn't get my flowers, cake, etc, since the payment was 'frozen', however Denise took care of everything so I did not have to worry the day of, and we figured it all out later. I would highly recommend getting them the payment a couple weeks PRIOR to your wedding!!! (maybe only holding a small amount). I still am not sure why or how the funds were frozen between the banks, but it was not something you want to be stressing about on your wedding day, or the day before! lol Denise was an angel however, and made SURE that I knew everything was still going to get done, and she was true to her word!
