Wedding date: Jan 16, 2014 at Now Jade Riviera Cancun

I was set on hiring a local photographer for our wedding in the Mayan Riviera and I stumbled upon Gonzalo's work on Best Destination Wedding. He wasn't the first photogrpaher I has been in contact with but after finding his portfolio, seeing his pictures on Facebook, and talking to him via e-mail, I knew he was the photographer for us! His collection of work got me so excited and his vibrant shots were exactly what I was looking for!  He was an absolute gem to deal with and we paid a great price for his services. He shot our wedding day and we also did a Trash the Dress shoot on the day after the wedding. On the wedding day, he showed up all cool and collected and brought a great vibe to the day! Everyone complimented us on the great job he did during the wedding and then again once we finally got all the pictures back. He took any shots that I wanted and had lots of suggestions when I drew a blank!!  He made me look like a supermodel... honest to god!  :)  We've received more compliments on our wedding photos than I ever could have imagined! Especially the underwater TTD shoot that we did in the cenotes on the day after. Gonzalo was super patient with me as I clearly was having a hard time underwater. We managed to get a dozen or so amazing underwater shots and also lots on a local beach.  It was super cool to hang out with him and get to know him for the TTD, as everything was a blur from the actual wedding day. He's an amazingly down to earth guy and an absolutely phenominal photographer who I would hire again or recommend in a heartbeat!!! Next to choosing my husband, this is the second best decision I made regarding the wedding :P  :wub:
