Sascha shot our wedding in December at The Beloved Hotel in Playa Mujeres. I decided to go with him because his prices seemed more reasonable than most of the photographers in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area. I am so glad we did, I can't say enough about him. He was punctual, professional and just all around a pleasure to work with. He even went above and beyond and came out to the resort a couple days before the wedding for a meet and greet and to answer any questions we had. On the actual day off the wedding, he arrived even earlier than he was supposed to and found me in the salon getting my hair and make up done and immediately starting taking pictures of me. After I finished, we went back to my room only to find out that it hadn't been cleaned yet (I was planning on taking pictures with my bridesmaids there) and also they hadn't pressed my gown or husband's suit. So I basically started having a little mini freak out. Sascha was so great in calming me down, trying to get me to relax.. offered to get me a drink. When the house keeping staff arrived, he spoke to them in Spanish to reiterate what the situation was and that we needed things to be done quickly. So after that situation was resolved, everything went great. He even kept me on schedule as we were running a bit short on time after the little fiasco. He basically kept me sane throughout the entire evening (lol)! I was almost sad to say goodbye when he left. He definitely has a great eye for angles and lighting and also capturing those candid, emotional moments. While Sascha was always with me taking my pictures, his assistant Misale stayed with my husband and took pictures of him getting ready as well guests arriving, the ceremony and reception set up, etc. I am indeed very happy with my pictures and have no doubt that I made the right decision using Sascha to capture my lifetime memories.
