Michael and Jennifer were great!  We ultimately chose them over other photographers in the area because their style had an artistic and natural feel about it rather than feeling too staged and posed which is something we really didn't want.  They both have a very calming presence about them which is great for such a high-emotion time like your wedding day.  In fact, the morning of our wedding we woke up to insane rains and with an outdoor beach wedding planned I was extremely stressed and worried that all of my plans would be ruined.  Michael and Jennfer emailed us early in the day (our wedding planner didn't even reach out) to assure us they felt the weather would clear in time for the ceremony.  They checked the satelite maps and even went up on their roof to see which direction the storm was blowing.  This had a huge impact on making me calm and more reassured that our wedding day would be all I had hoped for.

Another wonderful thing about M&J is the fact that they are a husband and wife team.  Before the wedding Michael went over and hung out with my groom and his guys and got shots of them getting ready.  He also took some of my favorite photos of the day of the guys hanging out around the town. He really captured the awesome contrast of an authentic Mexican island (locals and all) with the guys all dressed to the nines in their suits and sunglasses.  There was so much humor in those photos and Michael did a great job capturing them.  Jennifer hung out with me and my girls and got some gorgeous detail shots of the bridesmaids and my fashion, jewelry and wedding rings which is something I was really hoping for.  Jennifer's assitant pitched right in helping my bridesmaids pin their belts on and carrying my dress down to the taxi.

They both did a wonderful job of determining the look and feel of the photos that we wanted and making sure to capture that throughout the day.  Some of our guests called Michael "Spider Man" because he was darting around like a ninja and crouching down into whatever postions it took to capture each moment.  The photos of my husband and I after the ceremony were amazing!  Our guests could not stop gushing about the lighting and how cool the sky and backgrounds looked in the photos of just the two of us.  They really are gorgeous.  They also got some great candid shots of the dance floor.  After the wedding they provided us with a flash drive of all of our photos with rights to them so that we were able to create our own photo album, large prints, and thank you cards.  I know a lot of photographers maintain the rights and make you purchase through them at an up-charge so that was another feature I really appreciated.

Overall we were very impressed with the quality of service and the photos that we recieved.  They were well worth the money and any photographers on the same level as them in the Boston area would've cost at least double.  I am so happy we chose M&J!
