Pros: Beautiful ceremony locations, awesome resort, excellent hair/makeup services/spa, wonderful food, small resort so it's easy to find guests, great nightlife!
Cons: pool bartenders could have been friendlier

I would absolutely recommend NOW Sapphire as a choice for your destination wedding. We just got married 12/5/2013 and it was PERFECT in every way. The resort is great: best food and nightlife I've had at an all-inclusive (and I've stayed at a lot of places!). The ceremony location we chose (Tequila Terrace) is gorgeous with great beach/water views. Although communication with the wedding coordinators was minimal prior our arrival, they were awesome once we got there. My advice: relax and just know that you'll have a great wedding - and trust that everything will be great (this was hard for me, as I'm super Type A). You have to know going into a destination wedding that you will either not get a reply from the wedding coordinator, or it will come 2-3 weeks after you send it. The resort is a quick 20-25 minute ride from the airport. The road leading into the resort is super bumpy, but who cares? Every night the lobby bar offered live music, which is rare at all-inclusives (in my experience). There was also a show either in the ballroom or on the beach. The food was amazing: from the buffet to the restaurants. They have plenty of options: mexican, steakhouse, French, asian/hibachi, buffet. Our ceremony and reception were both on the Tequila Terrace. It was beautiful! Ramon and his team did a great job of setting up the tables (without any direction from me on where I wanted our decorations!). We hired DJ Mannia out of Cancun for the reception - they were AWESOME!!!! We also brought our own photographer. I would strongly recommend that if you're having more than 25 guests attend. The other weddings we saw during the week either used the resort sound system and played an iPod playlist (totally lame!!) or used the resort DJ, which we were not impressed with. Since we had to pay the $300 outside vendor fee for the DJ, we negotiated the fee to help keep the overall DJ fee to what the resort would have charged us for their in-house DJ. The resort photographer we were NOT impressed with. And, you only get to choose 24 images with the Eternity package. If you don't want to get home and regret not having a great photographer, I recommend flying someone in with you OR hiring a company out of Cancun! The Eternity package included a couple's massage. Amazing!! The Pevonia spa is incredible!!!! I was really concerned about my hair & makeup, as I'm super conservative with makeup and picky about my hair. I considered hiring either Sara Tamagaro or The Styling Trio out of Cancun, but couldn't justify it with the $300 outside vendor fee tacked on. So, I used Marilu at the resort salon - AMAZING!!! I was SO happy with her work!! Our wedding guests all said it was the best vacation they've ever had. We literally would not change one detail about the entire wedding week at NOW Sapphire! If you're considering a destination wedding at NOW, do it!!!

Thank you for your review. I am getting married next month at NOW Sapphire and will be getting the Divine package. I am wondering if you could let me know which menu choices you went with and and recommendations you might have. Thx!
