Leading up to the wedding Sascha was extremely responsive. I was very nervous to choose a photographer because our engagement photos came back horrible and ameatur. I knew I wanted to splurge on our wedding shots, but I didn't want to break the bank completely. Sascha was responsive, and very reasonably priced. I compared about 5 of the top photographers I could find in the area, and Sascha came in on the lower end of price, plus we really liked his style. I love that his pricing didn't require me to choose anything for prints. I paid by the hour and recieved digitals of the photos. I didn't have to pick and choose a certain amount. I felt like this was great value.

The day of the wedding was, to be honest, an absolute disaster, but nothing anyone could control. My husband and I were both very sick, especially my husband. We took tons of pictures of just the bridesmaids and groomsmen prior to the wedding, but my husband and I could only manage a few minutes of pictures together after the ceremony before we took him back to bed. Neither of us are super photogenic to begin with, and in most of the pictures we take together where one of us looks great, the other is making an unintentionally silly face or something. Combining that with the fact that hubby was barely able get out of bed, I was expecting to be very disappointed when reviewing my pictures.

However, Sascha and his assistant both did a great job. Although we barely had any time to shoot our couples portraits, he got several shots that I love. In most of them you can't even tell that we are feeling ill. I am so disappointed that we were too sick to shoot family pictures because I'm certain Sascha would have caught some treasured pictures for us!

Sascha was very respectful of the situation, and professional to work with. He captured some of the 'real' aspect of the day, but mostly gave us pictures to remember it happily. What I mean is that he did send some pictures where you can tell we feel like hell, but that was part of the actual day and I am glad to have a couple. For the most part, you could look through our photos and think nothing was wrong. It sounds silly, but it brought me a lot of comfort to be able to share some lovely photos and have people tell me it looked like the perfect day.

Although we were absent from the reception, Sascha took tons of great photos of our friends and family. I am so grateful for these pictures, because they are literaly all I've seen from our reception. Although it is of course bittersweet for us to look back on those, we will have happy "memories" of it thanks to these photos. My husband and I were both so thrilled to have beautiful pictures of the day that reflect how truly happy we were to marry each other, even considering our circumstances.

I highly recommend Sascha to anyone looking for a photographer in the Cancun area. He got beautiful pictures out of two people who are not at all photogenic and were sick as dogs - now that takes talent!! :)
