I just got married at the Dreams Tulum in the Riviera Maya on 4/27/13 and decided to get Sascha as our photographer after reading many positive reviews on his work on the wedding sites. It was the best decision I made! Him & his assistant were EXCELLENT! (So were the Videographers he recommended Eric Zwanenburg & assistant, I will write a separate review for their great work as well). Communication with him before the wedding was easy, he speaks perfect English and Spanish and is easily available for questions. The experience was a positive one from the start prior to the wedding and on the wedding day from the moment he got to my room to get the shots of me getting ready I knew this man was an expert at what he was doing and was the right person for my special day.  In the room he took many shots of everything and everyone, he moved the dress a few times until he found the perfect light, and he was very polite, charming and funny! A couple of my bridesmaids were still getting ready and had rollers on their heads & pajamas & he popped in the bathroom and got a few shots of them as they tried to hide from him. At the same time his assistant went to the groom's room and took shots of my fiancée, he was very pleased with his photo shoot as well. From there on him and his assistant worked tirelessly the rest of the day to get as many pictures as possible. He was a perfectionist with the light and the angles, he didn't take any shots just to take them and get them out of the way, if the picture or the poses were not good he kept telling us move right, move left, take another one, he didn't care that he had to repeat himself all day as long as his shots were what he was looking for. During the ceremony we saw his assistant climbing stairs and hanging by the balcony in the building in front of the chapel to get pictures from the outside in through the windows of the chapel, that was amazing! I cannot wait to see those shots, a couple of my guests noticed too and were surprised they would go through so much trouble to get pictures. Right after the ceremony they got all my guests together (all 50 of them) to get a group shot and then took many many more family pics with all type of combinations we had on a list. He was willing to work with what we wanted not like the photographers from the overrated DelSol that told me when I requested a price from them "we have our own style and we can take a couple of family pics but we do mostly candid"  which I found ridiculous that they tell you what type of pics you can take at your own wedding. But anyway with Sascha we had both, we had the old fashion family shots plus all the candid pictures they took throughout the whole day. I swear I did not see these men take a break not even for a second! After we were done with ceremony my husband & I took pictures all over the beautiful grounds of the hotel. Sascha knew the place very well because he's worked there before so it was easy to go from one place to the other. At one point we walked through a garden & my husband said can we take some pics on the grass, & he gladly climbed through the bushes to make it happen! After a ton of pictures of my husband & I in various locations, I don't even know how he rounded up the wedding party again but he did and took us all to the beach for many great pictures in the sand and by the water. My husband said that a couple of times while Sascha took pics of me he would look over his shoulder to see how the pic came out in the camera & he said all the pictures he took were perfect. We do not have them yet but I am certain that they will be amazingly beautiful and cannot wait to see them. At one point while we were eating, I said to my husband just look at that beautiful beach background we have and we both turned and there was Sascha, he took a pic of us! I said to him how did you get there? & he said I knew you guys would eventually turn! I think that is great photography when the pictures are taken at the spare of the moment and when your photographer is everywhere at once. He made us feel so comfortable and made our day so easy that without any hesitation I highly recommend him for Weddings or any other event. His prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience you get and I think he is the PERFECT choice! A couple of my aunts also commented on how it was so easy to smile at the camera with him behind it since he was a pleasure to look at ;-). They were actually also very pleased that he did not ignore their suggestions, my aunts had a bunch of magazine cut outs with wedding couples with different poses as ideas for us to take that they gave to Sascha when they first saw him. He told them he would hold on to them for later but that he had to take his pictures first which was understandable. But what was great was that hours later when we had all forgotten about the cut outs he pops them out of his pocket and tells us "ok tia (aunt) time" & he took most of the pictures my aunts had suggested, my husband and I thought this man is great! he could of easily not even bothered after all everyone forgot about those, but no not him he was very open to suggestions and gladly combined his expertise with our ideas.  

Since our wedding ended pretty late, we got a room for Sascha & his assistant which it gave us both flexibility. Since we was a guest in the hotel he was able to get something to eat and drink after the wedding was over because like I said before they worked non stopped through the day. He was also very flexible with us towards the end of the night as he didn't pack up and run when the time was up, so I think is worth having them stay the night. Also since they become hotel guests you do not have to pay the $120 external vendor fee so again the room is a great idea! After the wedding was over and we all changed and met in the bar I saw Sascha & Eric and they were great sports, I told them after they took pics of me all day long I wanted to take a pic of them & they gladly posed for me! This man should be the #1 rated photographer in the Riviera Maya, don't miss your chance if you can book him, you will not regret it. My husband & I simply LOVED having him as our photographer :-).
