We got married at the Grand Riviera Princess, Riviera Maya on 27th August 2010.  After searching the internet to find a wedding photographer, whose work I liked but that I could also afford.  Plus, we only booked the wedding 12 weeks before departure to Mexico, so availability was also an issue for us.

I then found Sascha's website.  He appeared to be available (from his on-line calendar), and his work looked amazing so I decided to e-mail him an enquiry about prices (as I did a couple of others).  When I received his price list, I was totally shocked.  Not only had I found a photographer who was available at such short notice and whose work looked fantastic, but I could actually afford to hire him (something I was very worried about as we were on a tight budget).

Sascha was very good at replying to my e-mails which listed many questions.  I was quite worried about paying for something (deposit), over the internet, when I hadn't actually met him or even spoken to him, but by the time we left for Mexico, I felt like I already knew him and was really looking forward to meeting him and having him take my photographs of the day.  

Sascha arrived a little earlier than expected, and caught his first photo of me as I was returning from my hair appointment (having already been taking photo's of my sister getting ready in our room), I was hesitant at first but he made me feel really comfortable within about 10 minutes.  His assistant Lars was off taking photo's of the boys and we all met up at the beach gazebo for the ceremony.  Both Sascha & Lars were snapping away but I was so wrapped up in the whole day that I only really noticed them for the organised photo's.  Most of his pictures were taken without prompt and they've ended up being some of the best shots I think.  My husband and I refer to Sascha as "The SAS Commando" as only when we've developed our own photo's which friends & family took, can we see just how many different positions he managed to get into, in order to provide us with the fabulous images he has.  It was baking hot on the day but it didn't stop them both working extreamly hard.

Sascha got some fantastic images (loved the reflection shots) and have had so many compliments from everyone we've shown.  I am so pleased and grateful that I found Sascha - it's so refreshing to know that not everyone hikes the prices up, just because they can.  

For anyone who is thinking, he's too much of a bargain and something must be hidden in the price, you're wrong.  We paid the price advertised, and Sascha even sent us some photo's printed (not expected) aswell as the disc with all our shots on it.

Hiring Sascha was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and he was worth every penny.  We now have a wonderful albulm, full of amazing memories from our wonderful wedding and I will highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the Riviera May area.
