We used HDC for our wedding at the Melia Tropical and reception on the La Barcaza.  From the moment we inquired HDC was quick to respond to all emails I never waited longer than 24 hours for a response.  They offer great packages that are priced reasonably.  Melia charges a $1,000 copyright fee so HDC offered 2 additional hours to compensate, for the Melia's charge, this was the major deciding factor when choosing HDC.  At the last minute we deciding to add a video package as well, they did not request an additional deposit for this which was nice.  The day of the wedding they showed up promptly and began taking photos, they were very professional.  Our wedding was on Saturday we had our photos and video back on Monday.  6 hours of shooting yielded 818 pictures. 

If you want certain songs on your video you must let them know ahead of time.  They did not ask us so I thought we would be able to watch the video and add songs.  But after watching the Video I let him know that I did not like the songs and he did send us a new video with songs we requested.  The editing I thought was lacking, the day before the wedding my flip flips cut into my feet so I had 2 large gashes on my feet and they did not edit that out.  They are photos that we took in the room where you could see the videographer in the reflection of the mirror and an iron on the floor. and that was not edited out.  We never received the highlight video. 

All in all they were a good chocie for our Punta Cana wedding They are one of the best local photographers.
