My wife Nubia and I were married in the Dominican Republic in February of 2013 and we still haven’t stopped looking over our pictures on a daily basis.  We couldn’t be happier with the job Reno Cassius of Photo Souvenir SA [[email protected]] did with our wedding photos. 

Let me preface this review with saying that as an ignorant bachelor before I became a married man I had little interest in choosing a photographer and didn’t see the value of going for the best.  However, in the end I took the sage advice of our wedding planner and my wife and selected Reno to be our photographer.  Also, it didn’t hurt that I really thought his website was impressive and somehow captured the look and feel of how I hoped my wedding would turn out (http://www.photosouvenirpuntacana.com/# ).

While I love our pictures and we have received so many compliments regarding how nice they came out Reno has qualities which set him apart as a professional wedding photographer.  First and foremost Reno has lots of experience and he is able to guide you through the day and advise you through your wedding day as to what works and what doesn’t work.  We were able to perfectly capture the beautiful sunset of our wedding day as a result of this.  It takes a true professional to know how to handle a difficult group and Reno was able to get everyone in and out of pictures quickly and gently without making it a chore.  Moreover, while my wife and I went about our nuptials and the reception, we barely noticed Reno and his team.  They were never slowing us down but somehow captured every special moment and several we didn’t even see until we looked at the pictures.  I was especially impressed with the individual photo shoot he did with my wife prior to the wedding in which he utilized a villa to create a wonderful album of photos of my bride.  I will cherish those photos till the day I die.

Finally, Reno was able to deliver our pictures to us within a few days so we had them even before we departed the Dominican Republic where we were spending our honeymoon.  Reno was even generous enough to share with us the RAW (super high quality) digital photos on a very large USB drive along with all the copyright papers.  I truly value what Reno did for us on our wedding day and highly recommend that you select him as your photographer in Punta Cana.  Reno also offers a “Wild Style” shoot for the days after the wedding where he takes you through the local towns and captures unusual and stunning photos that are a great twist on the trash the dress trend.  We hope to one day return and book Reno for a second shoot!
