We got married in February of 2013, and Renaud and his team (Severine was away on vacation, so it was not his usual second photographer) were amazing! We are so happy that we chose Photo Souvenir! Here are a few reasons why:

Planning a destination wedding in a tropical location can be frustrating at times due to "island time" responses, especially when you are used to instant communication in the U.S. Renaud was always very prompt in returning any of my emails.  I never felt as though I could not get ahold of him. That was my first sign I was going to like him! Upon receiving a quote from him, all prices were clearly discussed prior to booking, and prices were very fair, especially considering the quality you are getting. He sets up a meeting the day before the wedding, and makes sure to fully understand your photography priorities, and truly tries to get to know you as a couple.

On the day of the wedding, in the bridal suite, Renaud and his videographer arrived on time, and they were so relaxed and professional it was easy to even forget they were there. He got so many amazing photos of the girls getting ready. He had many suggestions for poses, and was also very open to suggestions from the group. The boys met with his second photographer (Miguel) in the lobby of the hotel, and they got some great photos as well. My husband says it might have been a little more helpful if he had some more suggestions for posing and photo ops, but his photos came out great anyway.

The wedding photos are simply stunning. I have spoken to many of my friends about their weddings, and most brides have one picture that they wish they had. I got every single picture (and more), and I am so happy with all of them! The group photos were great, and the photos of the reception are wonderful. Renaud has the "it" factor! He captured so many moments that I did not notice on my wedding day, but I am so glad they were captured! One more thing to add is how "non-invasive" Renaud and his team were. He managed to capture all of our moments, but blended in to the crowd and was not "in the way" at all during the ceremony or reception. We also hired the videographer set up by Renaud and he did an excellent job as well! We are very happy with our video.

We did a trash the dress session 2 days after our wedding. This was such a fun experience! Renaud picked us up, and took us to a beautiful beach about 25 minutes from our hotel. The session was well directed by Renaud, and he was great at coaching and posing us. The photos from that day are INCREDIBLE! I am SO glad that we decided to trash the dress! They are relaxed and so beautiful (and no, my dress is not ruined, it is fine!).  I have gotten SO much feedback from all of our friends and family about how beautiful all of our photos turned out. Many people have even commented on how it will be so difficult to choose the photos to be put in an album! (they are right, it will be!)

Overall, planning a destination wedding can be very difficult. Renaud makes it a much easier experience overall! I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
