Like many of you, I began searching for a photographer right after we booked our venue. I knew booking a talented photographer was key and one of my top priorities for our wedding. I also knew, booking a photographer who lives in a different country would be a difficult task – I needed someone professional, trust worthy and experienced (and who spoke English!). After weeks (maybe a month!?) of research and comparison, I decided to go with Sweet Fire, a decision that I will never regret!

Right from the moment I contacted Lori, I got the sense of her personable and professional personality. She responded to my emails within 24 hours, replied to my many questions in a thorough manner and made me feel completely comfortable with her contract and payment processes. Once I signed and sent her the contract at no point did I feel I made the wrong decision because I stalked her website, videos and facebook page that she updates on a regular basis. She even sent me albums of couples that she shot at the venue I chose – so I knew exactly where I wanted her to take our bridal party shots and what time of day I liked best.

Needless to say I had no doubt I made the right choice in photographers.  Going into the wedding, she was the least of my worries because I was confident she knew what she was doing! When we met right before the wedding she got to work right away. I didn’t notice her or Tanya taking pictures throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. In fact, I started to wonder if she took enough pictures! I never remembered a moment where she was in my face or asking me to do a certain pose. A few of my guests told me later that she did such a great job; and that she was everywhere – capturing each moment if at all possible. And she did do just that and more!!!!  I just got my pictures back a few weeks ago and I (and my husband!) was speechless. She was everywhere! She took pictures of each guest, each moment, each detail – Lori and Tanya did not stop at all! She took some shots that were astounding, and I was amazed I didn’t even remember her doing it – she is so great at sneaking around, not disturbing the wedding or standing out … Just so wonderful! It was amazing to look at the photos, I really relived the day through her shots! Her artistic eye and keen sense of what a bride wants for her special day is a perfect match. She is just incredible – I can’t say it enough!

So to all you out there looking for a trust worthy, artistic, affordable and lovely (and English speaking!) photographer, you got your girl. Lori Lemieux with Sweet Fire is the best of the BEST!
