To be honest I was very overwhemled when I was choosing my resort. I was back and forth between many resorts (Moon Palace, Sandals, Paradisus), and for some resorts they weren't responding to emails fast enough. I had read several reviews about the lack of communication with wedding coordinators. My travel agent in Toronto put me in contact with a private wedding coordinator for Paradisus. She actually developed the Romance Package several years ago and now works independently from the resort. The bonus with contacting her is that if you are from Toronto, you can meet with her here and plan your entire wedding through her. She can also save you a lot of money by suggesting vendors located in Punta Cana or even companies here in Toronto. Her services are not expensive at all, and she is a wonderful lady to work with.
