We picked the M.E. based on the reviews and options that they offered for weddings.  We got married January 30th, 2013 and had the perfect day.   Everything ran smoothly thanks to our wedding coordinator Andrenia who is excellent at her job.  She is professional and extremely efficient.  She always emailed me back in a timely fashion.  She also went the extra mile to make sure that everything we wanted and envisioned happened.  I can't say enough about this lovely lady she was wonderful.
We had our ceremony on the beach which was the perfect backdrop, our dinner was at the Sea and See and was delicious.  The staff was excellent.  They were fast and ensured that we never waited on anything. Our glasses were always filled with champagne.  Our reception was at the wet bar and was decorated beautifully.  We kept everything pretty simple because everything was beautiful to begin with.  Again the bartenders were excellent.  They were always ready to get anything that we needed especially after I got our wedding cake in the face thanks to my loving husband.  They immediately got me and after I got him back both paper towels to clean up.  The cake was delicious as well and looked fantastic.  All in all everything was perfect for our wedding day and it was the best a person could ask for.
 
We used HDC Photography for our pictures.  There is an additional charge for them to be allowed on site for the wedding but it was well worth it.  Our photographer was Milian and he was fantastic.  We both immediately felt comfortable with him and it was clear that he had a true talent.  He was extremely creative and many of my guest commented on his abilities before they even saw the pictures.  He captured every moment and we called him a ninja because he was everywhere and we had no idea that he even moved.  He really is gifted in his profession.  We also did a Trash the Dress session with him the next day that was incredible.  We had a great time and some of our best pictures are from that day.  I would highly recommend using them, you won't be disappointed.  
We used Core Films but we should receive our video in a couple of weeks so I can't comment on them yet.

Aside for the wedding we really enjoyed staying at this resort.  The staff was excellent and all the food was very good. Special mention for Bienvinido, Sandra, Hector, and Roberto to name a few.  The presentation of the food was wonderful and there was a large selection to choose from.  We were upgraded to a very nice room but wedding couples don't expect to be upgraded to the Elegance Club.  We had some guess staying in the Club and we tried to just get the bracelets to have access to their pools to join our guests but they would not do it under no circumstances.  And also if you think you will get a deal if you want to extend your trip because of all the business that you brought in for the wedding think otherwise.  It was more expensive to spend a couple other nights than to take a whole other trip.
With everything, there were a couple of negatives.  Some of the guest rooms did smell musty and we did run out of hot water a couple of times throughout the trip which was a real disappointment when your looking forward to going in the jacuzzi.  There was a couple of rooms that were near the theater which were pretty loud at night but when we asked if they could move they immediately changed their rooms.
The biggest issue they we experience was with the Delta tour representative (Leidy) at the hotel.  She told multiple guest that we had booked an excursion when we did not.  I think that is extremely unprofessional and we were very disappointed that this issue had occurred.  We had a couple of guest that actually booked because they thought we were going, but they were able to get their money back when they learned that we had not booked that excursion.
