Hello Brides! Wanted to post my review on the hotel. We got married on Nov. 10th 2012.  We had 83 guests stay at the hotel. Overall the hotel beaches and pool were amazing. The rooms were ok. I believe the hotel was built in 2006 and with time you can see that a couple of things have rusted. I don't think the management is investing much back into the hotel. For example many of the canopy furniture was stained. I was not impressed with the hotel upkeep. Our rooms smelled a bit funky but I guess with the humidity and salt water, there is not much you can do about that. We stayed in the elegance club section and it was great to have the VIP area to check emails. I got married offsite and so I needed to get a couple of things done before the wedding so having access to my email was extremely handy, no additional cost.  They also had mini sandwiches in this VIP area and so I didn't need to walk far if I wanted a snack. Our butler Junior was great, he gave us a room with the honeymoon banner even though we were not getting married there. My grandparents were also not happy with their room and the front desk was able to get their room changed the next day. One of my other guests however had ants coming up from their jacuzzi, not good. The hotel staff did however fix the situation. 

One word of advise is to have ALL your guest lock up their personal belongings in the safe. Our guests had a couple of things disappear from their room but this is because they failed to use the lock. We saved all of our belongings in the safe and had no issues what so ever. The staff for the most part are all great but there are lot of people who have access to your room so use the lock!

The american food was ok, at the end of day it's resort food, but I as I'm Dominican (but live in the US) I had no problem with the Spanish food as it was delicious!
