Pros: Aesthetic, dining & night life options, rooms, spa, lots of room upgrade options
Cons: No-kids policy for special events; wedding sites are average; price

We visited in July and had a very positive experience! The place is gorgeous, and very luxe-feeling.

Pros:

- Adults-only side AND a family-friendly side mean no one will be left out.

- Aesthetic. Beautiful, modern, sleek, contemporary.

- Spa appears top-notch-- a place I will actually look forward to relaxing in before the wedding!

- So many restaurant and bar options will make for good night life for guests.

- The accommodations are amazing-- some of the best I've seen in terms of luxury and comfort (in my price range).

- Unique room upgrade options to accommodate the entire socio-economic spectrum of my guests. From various suite options such as swim-up suites, to a specific "Royal Service" section of the resort for those guests who can afford to/are looking to pay more, there is enough luxury at almost everyone's price point. There is a similar option offered on the family side called the "Family Concierge" section.

Cons:

- No Kids Policy. The adults-only side is very strict. Children aren't even allowed for special events held on that side, such as a wedding ceremony. They won't allow them at all, not even for a 30 min. ceremony, and not even if the kids in question belong to the groom! (as is our case.)

- Wedding Sites. I saw some nice wedding sites on the adults-only side, but nothing special on the family side. In general I was unimpressed with the options altogether; I have seen much better offerings. This isn't a huge deal for us though because our ceremony and reception are off-resort.

- Price. This is a fairly new property, and I have heard that prices have recently skyrocketed. Clearly, this is good for them because it means the resort has really taken off; but it would've been nice if they could've increased them more gradually (or, if they would offer a better discount for wedding parties). I know that for some of my guests, this may make the trip cost prohibitive :(

Unknowns:

- I don't know yet what the "day pass" rates are or the supplemental charge per person for private catered events.

- Not many pictures of the beach; I am worried this is because it's nothing spectacular. I have seen some really great beaches at other resorts so that will be a major "con" if my suspicions are confirmed.

- Overall, it just seems too good to be true... I am worried about hidden costs/fees. If we decide to pursue this place seriously and I get my questions answered, I will update this review.

Overall, this place is so near to perfect for us, I want to fall in love completely! But the price and other "cons" are keeping me from committing.
