We had our wedding here in May 2012.  We had 24 people total and EVERYONE LOVED the resort.  I cannot say enough great things about this place. The food, drinks, staff, grounds were excellent.  Not one single bad thing to say. Our wedding coordinator, Gloria, was awesome. Once we arrived, we sat down with her and went over everything. She did a beautiful job. She didn't forget anything. She was so nice and funny.  Always answered all my questions throughout our stay. We had our wedding on the beach, cocktail hour on the pier and reception at the Lobster House. The whole night was awesome. The food at the reception was really, really good. The wedding was 5 months ago, and people are STILL talking about how wonderful the place was, it was the best wedding they ever went to, and how much they want to go back. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I actually got hurt the first full day we were there-we went jumping off a cliff in the cenote and due to me flying and going down below in the cenote within a short time frame, all the different pressures made my ear almost rupture.  You can only imagine my fear. I went to the doctor there at the resort and she was wonderful. She gave me medicine and was so nice, kind and understanding. We stayed in the excellence club the whole time we were there (9 nights) and loved it.  Our room looked out over the excellence club pool. We LOVED ERC and cannot wait to go back.
