Initially we were deciding against having a professional photgrapher for our Wedding at the Now Jade Mexico. Firstly because a photographer was included in our wedding package with the hotel, but mainly because we are a couple who don't really enjoy having photographs taken of us and wanted to spent the time with our family enjoying rather than posing for photos.

However I was persuaded by other brides that having a good photographer was worth it and I am so glad I found Claudia Rodriquez to capture our day! I found Claudia's website through a wedding forum and decided to go with her because her website and the photos she has taken previously were amazing. Once I emailed her I instantly felt comfortable speaking to her and her warmth and passion for taking photos came through even from just emailing.

When it came to the Wedding day, I had a few ideas myself or definite photos I wanted taken. e.g certain family members etc. Claudia was open to my suggestions and I didn't feel nervous at all about how things would go on the day.

From the moment she arrived at our hotel, she was extremely professional, knew exactly what she wanted to capture and utilised the time I had hired her for really well. She suited our vision of having a relaxed, stress free destination wedding.

When it came to having the photos back I was amazed, not only were the quality of them excellent, but the best thing and I think the most important thing was that Claudia captured the emotion and atmosphere of the day perfectly. I particularly loved the shots taken randomly of friends and family and all the natural reactions. These allowed me to relive how I felt on the day which was very happy of course. :-)

You can find many photographers who take great photos, but what I think makes Claudia beat the rest is that she really engages what is important to you as a couple on your wedding day, and tells a personal story for you through her photos.
