For our wedding on May 5, 2012, we did a great amount of research to find the right photographer. Although we considered photos to be an important aspect of our wedding, we did not want to spend an insane amount on them. My husband and I weighed the quality of photos from websites and reviews to narrow down our choices for photographers. We were fortunate enough to meet the photographers on a trip to Playa prior to the wedding. Claudia was easy to speak to, not only because she spoke English well, but she has such a pleasant and sweet demeanor.  She was open to all of our suggestions and made us feel very comfortable (which goes a long way when you want to be comfortable in front of the camera, too!)  I'd like to add that my husband works in animation and lighting and does some photography work himself so he was very selective when it came to the photographer's work. He loved the style and how Claudia captured moments in photos.

While working with many of the vendors in Mexico, we did notice that the communication lagged a bit.  It was to be expected. We are from New York, where we expect emails and phone calls and answers right away.  The culture is much more laid back in Playa. As much as we totally understood this, we really appreciated that Claudia was one of the few vendors who always promptly responded to our emails and queries. Claudia and her team were also on time and super professional on our wedding day.

We had a close friend who attended the wedding and is a well known photographer. He commented on the importance of being familiar with the environment and knowing the timing of the sun setting, etc. It was a critical factor in such a pressed timeline. We started a bit late, and had Claudia not been aware of the venue, best places to take photos near the sunset, we would have lost out of on our most beautiful photos! I want to add that on our wedding night, we had the Super Moon, and we were SO lucky to have Claudia capture that moon from daylight to night time!! Our photographer friend was impressed with how quickly and efficiently we got those shots. Claudia was knowledgeable on when and where to get those photos, and she directed and got everyone moving in a professional, courteous manner. She explained the poses well and got the right vibe working with us!

I definitely recommend them and urge you to check out her work.  I believe you have to trust your photographer, whether it's on their artistic instincts, pricing, and/or quality of work. With Claudia, we totally put our trust in her and would work with her again.
