ClaudiaPhoto Wedding Photography
We decided to get married at one of the Karisma resorts, and at the time of booking, Claudia and her team were part of our resort photographers. Their work was, in my opinion, far better than any of the other resort photographers, but they were also much, much more expensive than any of the other ones. In the end, photos were on the top of my priority list, so we decided to go with them for the big day. Claudia made communicating very easy, she was quick to respond and answered any questions that I had. We booked Citlalli Rico and her sister/assistant Tamara for our wedding day (4 hours) and a Trash The Dress session (~2 hours) a few days later. At some point after we had booked them, they were no longer one of our resort vendors, and even though I had told my wedding coordinator at the time of the booking that we were working with them, they still tried to charge us a ridiculous outside vendor fee. Claudia told me not to worry and that they would take care of the resort vendor fee. They really went above and beyond, even through email.
On the day of the wedding, Claudia came to my room to take "getting ready" photos and her sister went to the guys room. They really like natural, "in the moment" photos rather than posed pictures- so they would just quietly take pictures while we did whatever we needed or wanted to do. Their english was great, and out of anyone we had encountered in Mexico, they were the absolute easiest to communicate with. My FI was a little uncomfortable in front of the camera and they really made him feel at at ease and guided him through the process whenever we needed to pose or do "artistic" photos. They were both such a blast to be around, and stayed until we got all the shots we wanted. The only complaint I have is that I didn't get enough candid photos of certain guests, however, that's my fault for not specifying anything beforehand and for not hanging out around those guests more because generally wherever we went, they snapped photos!
The TTD session was a lot of fun! Both FI and I were much more relaxed that day so it was really a good time walking around the town and the beach with our wedding attire on. Everyone was staring, which made it even more fun. Citla and Tamara knew exactly where they wanted to shoot and were able to ask the locals working there if we could shoot in certain, cool locations (HUGEEEE advantage of hiring a photographer who knows their way around town & can speak the language). I can't stress enough how EASY & FUN they were to work with and how amazing the pictures turned out!
So overall, I would HIGHLY recommend them. If you care about your photos, pay the price. It is well worth it. We loved soooo many of our 500+ photos but here are just a few!
