My husband and I chose this resort because we have stayed at several different RIU resorts and have been very happy with them.  This one was no different.  The hotel is beautiful. Service was great and the staff very friendly and went out of their way to accomodate our group.  We had 40 people join us for our wedding and by the time we left most of the morning wait staff knew alot of our names.  Our one complaint was with the wedding coordinator, Daniella.  She did not speak very good english at all, but we got past that, afterall we were in Mexico.  She just left out ALOT of important information.  For example...my dress needed steamed from the trip down. I assumed that the laundry service at the hotel would steam it. So on THE DAY of the wedding I go down bright and early to have this done.  Thats when I was told I was supposed to have had that done 2 days ago. Apparently they send it to a dry cleaners to do it.  It was too late for a pick up so I had to jump in a taxi and head to town hoping that I can get this done and be back in time to get ready for my own wedding.  The dress is a pretty big deal to the bride.  You would think a "wedding coordinator" would know that and make sure that if it needed attention it would get done.  The beach wedding decorations arent too grand but in my eyes the beach is the most dramatic and beautiful backdrop for a wedding so I was ok with it.  If you are planning a wedding at the Pacifico I would just be extremely thorough and know exactly how you want things done. Other small things happened with her but overall the hotel and all of the other staff were great.  Our jacuzzi suite was absolutely beautiful. We were very fortunate with the maid that we had for the 2 weeks we were there. Every night we had something new to come back to. Always some sort of "towel figure" and chocolate. By the time we left I had a zoo of towel animals.  My husband didnt think this was as neat but I loved comeing back to the room to see what we had each night. 

I would recommend this resort to friends and we would definitely go back.
