HDC was probably the best decision we made for the wedding. With my husband and I both being amateur photographers, we were a little skeptical selecting a local photographer because we did not know what to expect and the photographer rates compared to our Canadian expectations were quite low.

For some background, we were married at Paradisus Palma Real (a venue worthy of its own fantastic review) in early January of 2012 and have been swamped since we got back and forgot to write a review. The weather had been rainy for two days leading up the wedding and we were worried it would ruin the pictures. That day, it turned out to be sunny and we got married on the beach.

We were so thankful Milan was our photographer. A strong, built Serbian - he was instrumental in making our day a success. He was friendly, easily organized our large wedding party for group shots, had top of the line photography equipment, and created some of the best wedding photos I have every seen - of us! At the reception, he worked hand-in-hand with the coordinator for the timing of each dance / event to make sure we got everything covered in the timeframe and went off without a hitch. He was so proud of his photos, he showed a few off to our guests - it was great. Each of our guests, and others from Toronto, were astounded by the quality and imagination behind each of our photobooks. One final note, we also had a videographer on site. While it was nice to document the ceremony, I didn't have the wow factor the photos did.

Milan was great - HDC is lucky to have him - and I wish him all the best with his future shoots. And to use his oft-quoted line: "Kissy kissy"
